It is certainly praisable that you undertake such an effort!What-if scenarios are truly the essence of historic games.Just two points:
1)Refrain from updating until the mod is compatible to 1.08.Everyone will be using that from now on.
2)Keep the Latest File thread more specific.I mean you should probably use only two posts.One with the latest file(with a numeric id,preferrably) and one with the changelog.At its present state,it produces chaos since it is not clear if these files should be all implemented or just the last one!Maybe you should give a new ver each week with specific numbering and avoid small additions.
Again,it seems to be a bright and hopeful effort.Please,don't give it up.

I tried it and I think it's great! Especially the hanseatic league is very nice.....
A specific download thread is a good move!Is the new file compatible with 1.08?Is it moddir-friendly?
I reckon we should make the standard Aberration scenario a 24-shield one, rather than the eight shields we've got now.
As well as Byzantium, Scotland, Brittany, Hansa, Granada, Finland, Burgundy, and Bavaria, we should have the following:
Hungary, Eire, Kalmar Union, Teutonic Order, Bohemia, Milan, Genoa, Sicily, Savoy, The Caliphate, Kingdom of Jerusalem, Mamelukes, Golden Horde, Timurids (for the masochists), the Papal States (just because), and Inca Empire (for Byng)
Not really sure about the last five. But I think all the ones beforehand are potentially interesting/important...

Here's an idea- as far as I understand it, aberration is meant mainly for MP play. As MP moddir is still buggy, why not make it a scenario like Peter Ebbesen's AOE? I think much more people will play a scenario in mp if it doesn;t use moddir.

You only need to copy the save game into the main directory, apparently. So long as the host is aware of it, there will never be a problem in MP.The rest of the mod can (and should) be kept in the moddir. Unless of course you like making multiple installations of EU2
About the question 'will random events be enough'? Nope... custom events bring flavour and fun to a mod
As for how many people play EEP, I understand it's quite a lot...
Well, I was pretty sure that the mod-dir issue will get fixed very soon, so I still hope for that.
Updates are sparse since some time. Reason is that my Aberration is broken, no idea why, it works with Byakhiam. It´s prolly a virus roaming about my CPU..
