Redo a proposal here with valid points. Be specific about troops (which type inf/cav and location to cut off) and submit it in 10 days.

About monarchs, duplicate this in Bugs thread since it is typo/wrong spelling.

New map will provide both (no PTI between China and Mongolia).

Can we get rid of China? Rename tag chi to Ming, after 1644 fallen, give Ming, Dashun, Daxi and Zhou a "move capital to beijing" event if they own hebei and some important prov, give Manchu a "move back to mukden" event if they no longer own most han provs, make post-1644 chinese event province-spec event (add own hebei and capital in hebei to triggers) except Manchu-only events (like appoint heshen and wu san gui revolt) and international events (like ancestor worship).

I propose replace Koxinga's family with some fantasy monarch in Ming monarchs, and S. Ming's collapse should happen in 1659, not 1683.

Koxinga's Ming government in exile and Zhu family's mainland S. Ming are two things, Koxinga's family should not be S.Ming's regent.

Some idea about Manchu conquer China...

In 1419/1520 game, when 1644 Manchu's landtech often fall behind Ming 5 level or more, it make Manchu very hard to beat Ming, and make "S. Ming's end" event strange, because in this situation, there is big possiblity of S. Ming still live and own most southern chinese provs in 1683 (sometimes Mch is driving out by Ming in this time).

Ideas:

1, Give Mch an event to join a better techgroup? (they will back in 1644)
2, If we make sure Mch have better tech than Ming in 1644, in Mch takeover China event, Ming should move capital to Shanghai, then if they no longer own some important southern chinese prov, or lost control of Shanghai to Mch, they will move capital to Guangdong and secede all not-belong-to-U14-in-1648-sce mainland han provs to Mch, then if S. Ming lost control of Guangdong to Qing, "S. Ming's end" event will happen.

I think spelling of chinese name should be unified.

It should use pinyin except people who have been well known in their non-pinyin name, like Koxinga. And if people's given name have 2 or more syllables, there should not be space between them, FE, Li Zicheng, not Li Zi Cheng.

Sorry, I don't understand...could you explain it more clearly? Very thanks.

As in that is a very heavy handed approach preventing DA and rather goes against game mechanisms/design. Other nations that frequently diploannex aren't "punished" in the same way, so why should China?

En, Imho, in game, China is very big and rich, have no strong enemy in neighbor area, can RM nearly all neighbors, and have few colonists and missionaries, these make China often diploannex all confucian countries and half theravada community twice, once in Ming, another in Qing. In history, during EU2 era, China never do any diploannex thing, only thing which look like DA is China force its de facto independent small vassal lords (namely local governors of China) give up their political power.

A less radical idea:
Give China some non-random event, when it own capital prov of one of its neighbors and this neighbor don't exist, China will have event to choose release it or not, it will make AI's first time DA useless and player can just choose no.

About name for China, Ming or Qing are only dynasty names. China is always China. This was discussed before.

About DA (and of course they are not wanted but happen), as Garbon said, there is no reason to "punish" China.

No idea for koxinga's family and why it was chosen for dynasty.

About 1659 and not 1683, could you please explain and propose change for event?

About tech race, Manchus are really behind China in land. This is a fact. I have to check if Manchus are in same tech group as China (to be at least at parity) or suffer other penalties (number of known countries - isolation, for example). Btw, problem is the same for Japan and this penalty.

About spelling of chinese name, isn't Pinyin a romanization and not an anglicization?
I can't answer alone to the change you propose.

About relations, in order to avoid DA or at least delay them, maybe we could lower Chinese relations to the minimum "friendly" for Korea and Manchus, something like 50, maybe less (I can't check current values in 1419 right now).

EDIT: currently, we have in 1419:
China - Korea => +125
China - Manchus => +77

EDIT2: Manchus suffer isolation penalty, just like Japan (China techgroup in both cases, same techgroup as China in 1419).

First, modify events in AGCEEP_Global_Mines.eue according to this bugfix.

Finally, you have to edit your savefile and modify Yunnan and Lanzhou provinces after year 1491 like this: Search for "id = 1553" and "id = 1558" for provinces and replace value following "mine =" with 4 in both cases.

1, Let's discuss it later...
2, Yes, I will do it.
3, How to resolve it? Let Mch know some central asia?
4, Sorry, could you explain it more clearly? Thanks.
5, I agree with lower relations.

Precision about Pinyin: it is a romanization and not an anglicization but AGCEEP uses anglicized version of names when there is no other way in "local" alphabet. IMHO, in order to romanize all names and use Pinyin, it should be a decision of the HC (not only me).

For relations, according to others Chinese relations, I suggest:
China - Korea => +50
China - Manchus => +25

For Manchus, Korea and Japan, I suggest to add following provinces (capitals of other nations), in order to avoid isolation penalty (under 18 known countries):
596 - Touva (Mongolia) (*)
664 - Da Nang (Champa)
668 - Cambodia (Cambodia)
670 - Bangkok (Ayutthaya)
672 - Tarakan (Arakan) (*)
673 - Irrawady (Mon) (*)
678 - Johor (Malacca)
679 - Ajeh (Atjeh)
682 - Palembang (Palembang)
1543 - Lhasa (Tibet)
1545 - Kachin (Meng Yeng)
1547 - Mandalay (Burma)
1548 - Shan (Mu Bang)
1550 - Lampang (Lan Na)
1552 - Mekong (Lan Xang)
1557 - Sichuan Pendi (Lu Chuan)
1601 - Dsungaria (Chagatai)
1606 - Xinjiang (Ha Mi)

(*) should be added to Chinese known provinces too.
