though I remember some antivirus programs reporting AoI was a virus.. And that is not correct. So no that should not be a virus.

It's not a virus, it's a simple little program I had a friend program me to sort text files (used for the event lists). It's not needed for the mod though, and it's only there by a mistake - so just delete it and you'll be fine.

I've been trying to install AoI 2.0, but I'm inexperienced with computers. Could somebody walk me through the process? Any help is appreciated.

I have one of those "cannot locate events/flavour_dan" errors and have been re-reading posts, found other people who have had this error but no explanation on how to fix it.

And yes, I did read the readme. multiple times. It isn't helping.

I would love a step by step instruction, if possible

I made a self extracting version of AoI a couple of years ago, it was pretty foolproof - any chance you've still got that .exe-file Hive?
