IMHO after this patch:
1. chapter "Imperial Archives / Unit Mods / Hero Vehicle" disappeared (or may be it was in units).
Better to return, otherwise I can find f.e. Glaukos only by searching known name, but not by turning over chapter.
And if you do not remember exact name, you will fail to find at all.

2. if you will search f.e. word "propagator" in Imperial Archives, you will receive "Shakarn Propagator (Units)" two times with slightly different pictures.
One position is enough.
Same with some other units.

Added a PFX to sprawl objects spawning when cities increase in size or new sector upgrades are built
Nice, Cities will finally look bigger when growing.
Reworked Observe Mode and added a 'Follow Enemies Only' option
That is a great idea, I had to keep pushing space to skip my allies moving every single unit one by one during their turn... :D Very useful.
Added visual lines between echo walkers and their clones
Neat! Never had a problem with them, I always consider whichever might die, I still have another left, but useful.
  • Water Energy pickups now have their own Tactical Combat Map
  • Water Production Pickups now have their own Tactical Combat Map
  • Water Cosmite Pickups now have their own Tactical Combat Map
  • Water Cosmite Nodes now have their own Tactical Combat Map
  • Submarine Spawners now have their own Tactical Combat Map
  • Bronze Landmark: Sunken District now has its own Tactical Combat Map
I have wanted this since the base game release, very happy with it! New maps look great. More cover, too!
Abilities from units that attack with claws (like the Kir'Ko Frenzied and the Wildlife Voradon) or other sharp body parts (such as the Penguin) are now considered to be Claw abilities. These are now able to equip all Biochemical mods except for the Ionic Infusion mod.
Huh this seems really powerful, especially considering the slowing/stunning biochemical mods. And this will make Amazons and their tamed/summoned animal armies even more powerful.
Psi-Fish, Hopperhound, and Megasow units that have transformed through Metamorphosis now gain a passive property that increases health called Evolved Vitality. The health boost depends on the unit.
Great, I wanted this for a long time. Especially with the low HP Psi-Fish, evolution often seemed like a step back. It's still odd that they have Prime Rank perks, which they never really get, though, as they evolve at that rank.
The old arrangement of weapon techs meant a lot of investment was needed to reach high level weapon mods, this meant many players never got to use them, since they prioritized other parts of the tech tree which were more widely applicable. We decided to try and tackle this by making the techs cheaper and cross linking the weapon techs, so that researching one tech would also unlock techs for it's partner.
HUH... so how will this work? If I research the Tier I Firearms research, the Tier I Laser gets unlocked too?
Unit 'Echo of Despair' is now considered non-vital
What does that mean, actually? That enemies will not target it much?
Mod 'Overcharged Augment' - Now is on a 3 turn cooldown
Good choice. I liked the augment but the once per battle nature often made it not as powerful as its cost indicated, and often it was easier to bring Fanatics instead.
Fixed the AI not building enough colonies
That was a big problem with AI enemies and allies, glad it got fixed. Hope they expand more now.
Fixed Reapers losing buffs when they transform back to their starting forms
Reapers can transform??? I never knew... ?

Are you serious? Please stop being rude. How can you even compare a 4X spin off sci-fi game with a purely turn based fantasy franchise which doesn't even have something like economy or diplomacy mechanics so to speak? Should I remind you that Heroes 5 were made by the very same company who released bogus of a game called Heroes 7? Not to mention Heroes 5 is considered mostly subpar to Heroes 3, and was made playable only after a long process off patching (wouldn't be possible without fans stuborness, I know because I was there when the game was hot) and the addition of Tribes of the East expansion. Not to mention how they literally brought the franchise to ruin - reminder: they only release some s*it mobile games labeled with the franchise name now.

If there is a bug Triumph devs will fix it or at least try to, they are one of the more responsive and "I care" developers around.

If this is a late game issue it is not even that much serious. Take a chill pill and wait a few days, I'm sure a hotfix is on the way becasue a few more issues might have popped up in the meantime.
HOMM 5 was what killed Heroes for me. I gave up around the Dungeon campaign - the initiative order that lets fast units act twice per turn (and my hero having to wait in line to cast spells), the terribly ineffcietent and game-breaking revamp of necromancy, the hex grid system being replaced with squares and smaller battle maps, the whole Warhammer/anime appearance... I played VI and then even beta-tested VII and the games just kept getting worse and worse. Ubisoft essentially killed Heroes with their incompetence, and now are only using the trademark for terrible chinese mobile games. I so wish they would sell the rights to Paradox. If anyone could revive Heroes, it is them.

We already fixed sprawling back with the Tyrannosaurus Update, this just adds a short PFX to when it happens so it's clearer that it happened.

Researching the Tier 1 Firearms Tech will unlock the Tier 2 Firearms and the Tier 2 Laser Tech and so forth down the line.

It means the unit is not required to be killed for a combat to be won/finished.

Hmm we might have too many similar names as I think they meant Reaver instead of Reaper

Ah OK. So it does not automatically unlock Tier 1 laser, just makes you able to research Tier 2 of both firearms and lasers, get it.
Huh, interesting... So they turned into basically Autotorpedo-style summoned units who die without the summoner.
Ahhh yeah the Reaver, it makes sense then. :D Though would be fun if Reapers/RPRs could transform too!

During my playthroughs ever since Invasions launched, there were a few 'stealth' changes I've noticed that weren't listed in the patch notes:
-Hazmat mod for Promethean was changed from T2 to T1 mod cost. Makes the mod more enticing on Ravaged World and against bio-heavy armies (i.e. green variant of Voidbringers).
-Grounding Harness can now be equipped to both Amphibious and Land units, instead of just Land (previously you couldn't give them to units like Bombardons, Growth, and Penguins). Of course I think the biggest effect this simple change had is making the mod useful for the all-amphibious Shakarn.
-Dimensional Desync is now properly tagged as a Kinetic Status Effect in the Voidtech Unit Properties rpk file, and thus can be dispelled, this used to not be the case in the unmodded game, even with the T-Rex patch nerfing it to a strength 10 check instead of a guaranteed effect.

I don't mind these changes, I think they're all alright, but why weren't they included in the patch notes?

The Patch Notes are a collaborative effort, the team member that makes the change or fix is expected to add the note to the document. If it's not in the document or it's under the wrong header (i.e. New Content for EXP vs Base Game & Released EXP Changes), it doesn't get transferred to the complete list which means it doesn't reach me when I clean up the Patch Notes for the different platforms. Anything undocumented is an oversight due to the sheer amount of changes and fixes our team makes, especially when developing a Expansion & Update simultaneously.
