Description​

Ambient sounds like crowd cheering in tournaments keep playing in the background after the tournament is over. Reloading the save gets rid of it.

November now. Let's hope this will be fixed with the release of persia DLC.
You bet the instant it releases that's literally the first thing I am going to check. Boot game up, play as HRE emperor, hold tourney. If bug still occurs, exit game, post confirmation in thread, wait for next patch, repeat.

No need to boot up game. Just go to Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings III\game\sound\banks and check if ep2.bank has been modified same day.
If yes, chance of being fixed. If no, probably not fixed.

I don't think the issue is in the bank files though. It seems like it's not the actual sound effect file that's bugged, but rather the game not properly telling it to stop playing after the tourney. (But at this point, I honestly wouldn't care if they just delete the audio from playing until a proper fix can be found.)

1.11 is out, I don't see it in the patch notes. As soon as it's installed I'll check and see if this is still present.

EDIT: Still an issue. Guess I'll wait for 1.11.1. I'm getting frustrated this hasn't been addressed. It's not gamebreaking but it's very annoying to have to reboot the game after every tourney, or just put up with hearing it for hours on end. Happens every tournament, without fail, so (as far as I know) it's not one of those bugs where it's very hard to pinpoint the cause because it's super convoluted (Requiring many steps to reproduce) and only occurs semi-consistently.

It's sad that we have to do this. I don't even think the dev team knows or cares about this bug at this point, seeing as it's been months since the bug's existence.

I really don't understand how it didn't happen to them.

Could it be that it doesn't occur in the developer version of the game?
Really the only possible explanation I can think of. Aside from all of their headsets dying.

A community team member on the CK3 discord confirmed that "it's being logged and tracked internally" so they are aware of it. I do wish they could prioritize a fix due to the general "annoyance" of the bug (Must save, quit to menu, load save after each tourney or put up with listening to it) and how long it's been in the game. (2 expansions later and still unfixed.)

Same issue here. The bug only appears when i make a grand tournament
