And what The King of France means with "Austrian Agression"? The annexation of Genoa was made before Austria had attacked Venice and annexed Milano (which the Archduke guaranteed to me that was for legitime defense). Also Austria cede his right in Franch Comté and Artois to France. So I cant see why France would annex Genoa because Austrian agressions.
What intrigues the World is Why would Spain split Genoa with France, taking the useless Corsica and giving Genoa and its Center of Trade to France??? Did the Spanish King become a French vassal or American gold made him become crazy?
What the King of France does with His vassals is His business. If you persist in telling Him what to do with His vassals then He will start telling you what you can and cannot do with your vassals.
The people of Genoa sick and tired of the oppresion and tyranny of the Doria and their Austrian masters turned to His Majesty and begged for His protection. Being the upholder of truth, justice and all things good and righteous His Majesty was forced to respond. Since His Majesty's fleet was necessary in other theatres the King of Spain agreed to help with the alleviation of the suffering of the people of Corsica so that the Doria would not be able to escape to that island and continue their tyranny.
It should be noted that the English Governement has behaved most disparagingly to their most August Majesties the Kings of France and Spain. The English have insulted the King of France by daring to tell Him what to do with His vassals and then insulted the King of Spain by starting malicious rumours about him and calling him crazy. The King of Spain is a dear friend of the King and France and any insults towards that Majesty will be looked upon in extreme displeasure by His Majesty.
