Any map mods?

After the adaption of the AOD scenario files to the E3 map I have expanded them only slightly (e.g. added convoy serials to ENG,USA,JAP,ITA and GER). The cross-checking of the event files and their adaption to the E3 map is now also done (except BP), but there is even more to do: e.g. revolters, the ai files or province.csv with the IC and resources...

To anyone, who is interested in playing with the E3 map in conjunction with the AOD scenario and event files, I can offer the files I have adapted to AOD.

We have to thank mumia who is the creator of the E3 map. If you see it on your screen you get a hint how many hours this map already has taken. The map is simply great. I hope that he'll adapt his map to AOD so that he can introduce more provinces.

It would be so cool if the E3 map was properly implented with functional AI, revised events as such.. It's so beautiful. And how many years have mumia been working on it? I know how much work there's to adding one province... remaking the whole map, that's sick!

I've overwrite the files, all, from the E5Mapv0.5 and with Fürstbischofs events and szenario files. The game starts, but when I choose the 36 campaign and a country the Loadingscreens stops and hang on.
What I'am doing wrong ?

I'am using AOD Version 1.04, because I can not find any Downlods for the 1.04 Patch.

No it takes a while to load up the first time, like 10-15min but then it works, so launch again and this time wait for the game to load up.

Are there problem with the AI. Actually I'am looking for a historical correct economy. Because of the new provinces there are much errors and lacks because of wrong economy and industrial power of the major powers.

Yes, all the ai files have to be done. I have counted them recently and was a little bit shocked. As noone has offered to help it's crystal clear that I'll have to do it by myself. Luckily many of them are quite small. But they have some other issues, too. See here.

But tbh I'd prefer to wait until they have 1.05 finished. It seems that they'll change the ai in so many ways that we'd have to start from scratch again.

Neither IC nor the resources have been properly adapted or re-balanced. I'm hoping that mumia is already working on this task, but as already by Inner Circle mentioned we simply don't know when the next update will arrive. We might need to do this by ourselves eventually...

Be careful while updating province_names.csv. There are some issues if you use Excel to edit the file. It seems to inflate the size of the file which makes it unreadable by the game. I ran into the same problem when I used Open Office for editing province.csv which caused instant ctds.

I know about the problems with excel. So I've working with simple Texteditor.
For names there is no problem to do so, but for the province.csv the normal texteditor is uncomfortable.

Now, there are some more errors in the map. Many new provinces are in wrong areas, regions. Helena province for example in Montana is still in an oceanregion. So when you order an airstrike, your bomber tryed the fly in that oceanarea insteed to helena. Nearly every province in india is putted in US areas, regions.
So I want refresh the new provinces. That takes many days to do, and with the balanched economy that should become a little modproject.

But until then the german translation for the new provinces is ready.
Just download from the Attachments. All provincenames are in respective original countrylanguage. German provinces are in german, spanish provinces are in spain, northafrican and arabic parovinces are in arabic....
