I got a question in the opening post of this thread that I'd like to get at least some kind of feedback on from PI

From a technical standpoint, could you make a simulation game of the contemporary world, such as Mission President Geopolitical Simulator, developed by Eversim (without all the bugs, of course :D ).

And would you like to develop one, based on real data and statistics, regularly updated online (One day maybe ... ;)) ?

Having seen earlier in the thread that some of the staff like their metal, any Bathory fans on the team? You can't be from Stockholm, like Metal, and not like them :D

Also, a few more questions:
- if you had to permenantly leave Sweden, where would you move to?

- has there ever been any moments when you considered giving it all up and getting an easier and less stressful job?

- if you weren't doing your particular job at Paradox or another Game studio, what would you be doing?

- has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

I was always interested whats the ratio between total sales of the game (EU3 for example) and number of forum users registered it. 100:1? 1000:1? 10000:1?

Would it be possible for us to get a big picture of as many of the Paradox employees as possible before the deadline of this event? Please?

Cool... is there an avatar i can get? :D Just to proof it :p

You don't need proof of real love.

Though I doubt how real it is considering how you are dating online a married woman!

:D

I'll copy Susana as well.

Who is the company's practical joker?
Shams gets my vote with Johan or Chris as runner-up

Hmmm. Most of us do I guess, but Susana gets my vote :)

Who would be most likely to give me a hug should I acquire enough money to buy a plane ticket and show up on your doorstep?
Anyone in the team I guess.

Could you provide some background info on yourselves? E.g. hometown, age, education, etc etc; whatever you feel like sharing!
Hometown: Umeå
Age: 35 (36 in June)
Education: Studied International Business and Management at the Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law 93-98.
Joined Paradox August 2003.
Random trivia: I used to play drums for 11 years, three years in a death metal band. I still speak some Japanese, but it is getting rusty...

What was it like being offered a job with Paradox? How exactly did it happen?
I was asked by one of the founders to join in 2003. At the time I was tired of working as a consultant, so timing was excellent.

What kind of music (if any but Falalalan) do you listen to?
Heavy: Metallica, Testament, Mustasch, In Flames, Sepultura, Audioslave
I also listen to classic Rock and Opera.

What does the job of the Historical Researcher exactly consist of?

How is it different for sequels of games which you already have had a fair bit of research conducted on with the previous game of the series like HOI3, Vic2, and EU3?

Having seen earlier in the thread that some of the staff like their metal, any Bathory fans on the team? You can't be from Stockholm, like Metal, and not like them :D

Sorry, haven't heard of them :( But if they're on Spotify, I'll check them out.

Also, a few more questions:
- if you had to permenantly leave Sweden, where would you move to?

Canada. Lots of great places to skii. Or maybe somewhere warmer. Perhaps Spain or Gibraltar.

- has there ever been any moments when you considered giving it all up and getting an easier and less stressful job?

Not yet :) I have just worked in the games industry for about three months, so I am not yet willing to give it up.

- if you weren't doing your particular job at Paradox or another Game studio, what would you be doing?

I'd like to teach game design at a university some day but I do think I need more experience first. It's a dream, at least.

- has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

I... don't understand

EDIT: I really want to know what that last question is about!
