Well, it definitly has some potential as an medieval geography-teaching instrument...

Oh yes, while studying at high school, I had history seminar for those who wanted to "graduate" from history. It was quite difficult and when it came to test from historical geography, I was the only one who get A and just thanks tu EU1. I even got everything right, but our teacher mistook Curland and Livonia (in czech they sound very much alike - Kuronsko and Livonsko) so I had two "mistakes." (Just as interesting footnote - the only place nobody but me got right was Uri, everyone else placed it in Mesopotamia ;))
But needles to say, some of other students became curious and started playing

They probably mistook it for Uruk, the second or third Babylonian city in Civ, so I guess that was the only game they were playing... :D

Actually it was not Uruk but Ur :D

I mean the one they thought of. Otherwise you are right about Uruk. It existed and was in Civ

You are right, how could I confuse the city of Abraham? :eek:o Uruk was actually the seventh city in Civ: Babylon, Ur, Nineveh, Ashur, Ellipi, Akkad, Uruk.

Never knew that. Eu3 has been used in schools, actually more than eu2 iirc.

Didn't know that.

I only knew that a few teachers posted that they had dismissed EU3 during EU3 vanilla before expansions came.

Maybe have changed now, though haven't kept myself updated on EU3 in a while.

That's nice! I wish my History teacher used that in school, it would definately help my grades

If you won ten million euro/dollars, what would you do (1) on the first day, like to celebrate, and then (2) after that?

1. Buy all the stuff I want but think is too expensive. A segway, a new computer, start looking for a new apartment. I might buy a cake to the office. :)

2. Start looking for good investments, decide on charity to support, set up my family with what they need.

1. Who's your favourite moderator?
2. If you get asked a question about CK2, what's your favourite deflection technique?

1. I can't answer that! If I say someone, the others might feel neglected. :(

Okay, new question. I've already asked a few, so feel free to answer someone else instead, but I shall ask anyway...

1) I would buy a copy of each book at the Science Fiction Bokhandeln (a fantasy/science fiction bookstore in Stockholm), then I would celebrate at a fancy restaurant.

2) Invest. Then buy an apartment in Stockholm or Uppsala as close to the trainstation as possible. Give my little sisters a small sum so they can take a sabbatical year and travel.

This weekend I´ve got some inside information from the building where Paradox is located. :D

My informer says he sees the Avalanche guys all the time, but almost never the Paradox crew.
So do you:
a) have a social anxiety disorder?
b) working hard with Semper Fi and V2
or
c) playing HTTT multiplayer?
;)

Does he know what we look like? ;) We are fewer than the Avalanche team.

a) Not that I know of.
b) Yep, working hard or hardly working.
c) Only on Tuesdays.

Have anyone of you played The Guild 2? Do you like it? I think paradox should publish a The Guild 3!!! :D

Actually found the Guild 1 (Europa 1400) much better and diverse. But still would like to know if pdox has ever tried those :)

No, but seriously, can we have image tags in the German forum? We cannot display pictures like so:

It would be nice to get them. :)

Do you have any office pets? Like a goldfish or something?

The office Scotsman? :p

Ha - that's because we all look too "normal" we blend in with regular people...;)

A less know fact is that Shams real name is Mr Nibbles.

I've noticed he is quite a good typist, despite his rather un-finger-esque front appendages. Good effort, such that I'm sure he gets tired and naps during the day as shown below.

have you thought of buying a pet platypus to the office?
Would be awesome.

No other game company has a living mascot, right?

that would be awesome!

I think you have me confused with my starship in Star Trek online, USS Mr Nibbles

But it does look like me.
