What games are going to be presented at the Cologne Gamescon? (that I will attend with my chief redactor at PC4WAR print magazine :) )

Reading is fun.

Will Paradox be at the Gamescom in Cologne, next month ?

And if so, what can we expect ? :)

Yes!

We'll be there but not in the consumer part of the show, just the pres/dev part.

We've got tons of announcements of every size manner and color! It's going to be great!

I can read, thank you. :)
But what I am asking is what games are going to be presented.
I would like to know if Magna Mundi is going to be there for example.
It can help if I am to prepare an interview or a preview, you see.
The same question could apply to upcoming Paradox France alias AGEOD titles like Vainglory of Nations.

I say huh?!?!? ;)

On the other hand, a Wii version of Mount & Blade, with enough thought put into the command options, could be absolutely OrSummm!

No, no! For Nintendo Wii! :D

Playing EU3 by waving your hands like crazy. And having a few minigames to play during peace. What do you say? :)

Obviously, it should be 3-D as well.

We'll have a lineup announcement next week hopefully.

Have any of the Paradox staff been to Ireland?

Yeah, I know... it was a vain hope....

Will you ever make HOI2:Arma open-source?...
The source code for Arma has already been shared (by contract) with a group of fans of the game - and Arsenal of Democracy is the result!

I think it will be a long time before it becomes open source - if it ever does - but if there are things you want to see, or want to be able to mod, why not take a look at AoD or even post to the forums? We have plenty more ideas, still, but we're always interested in extra (good) ones ;)

P.S. - and AoD is in the half-price sale at the moment, too!

I know about AoD,problem is that some people simply felt that AoD is simply too realist,or lacks some features to make it fun.It is indeed a lot more modable, but many realistic stuff were added which simply made the game...move slower, feels too realist for some. There are modders who won't go to AoD for a reason - that reason is probably the issue of realism, that's it.

1. When will Paradox expand its New York staff?

2. What past and future opportunities does Paradox have for teleworkers?

3. Do you employ any veterans?

1: soon? it's in the works.

2: Teleworkers? elaborate.

3: Yes. I find the question a bit strange, why wouldn't we? Are veterans special compared to any other profession in relation to game development?
