Someone tell me how do I learn basic programming?
Modding Eu3-HoI3 is not that hard I think, although I have never done huge changes while playing.
And Swedish is mandatory still in Finland...

I started by learning BASIC languages first to understand the very basics of programming. For example QuickBasic and CoolBasic are easy enough. Then continued to C++ by buying two books and reading guides and examples online. There are better ways but this worked for me.Someone tell me how do I learn basic programming?

I think with that path, you go through mantle...and I'm thinking the devs would get whiny when I arrived at work with an eruption of molten lava every day.

Yes, but you need to do it rather quick I think. Don't think we have a deadline, but we have gotten a lot of applications already.

Can you give some general advice on how to get started playing Victoria?
I have played EU/EU2 and all Civ. games. So I have some experience with Paradox games. This one though throws me for a loop on where to begin, and what is the main abjective to get started?

You need to ask gmeplay questions in the specific sub forum for that game.
On the main forum page it list threads, posts, members, and active members. What is an active member? logging on with the last year?
Why are the E-Manuals lacking bookmarks?
This is something which alternatively irks or pleases me: Discovering whether a manual has bookmarks. It makes life easier for every user that bothers to RTFM. So I plead: Make use of this cultural advancement! Bookmark or death!
