Has there been any talk among the Development Team about a EU: Rome expansion after Sengoku or the Vicky II expansion is done?

I really hope the answer to this is yes.. EU:R had amazing potential and it sort of got abandoned (without even an official patch at the end of its life)

It's what introduced me to Paradox, so I do have a natural affection for it, but meh.

Eh? The 2.32c patch is pretty good, AFAICS ... ?

now that i know who you guys cook in sweden may i ask how you code your games?

I don't think I've laughed so hard in ages... it may be because I'm up so early, but holy shitacky mushrooms that was hilarious.

Hi, I didn't know exactly where to ask this question, so I'll try here:
Is there any game, made in the past, that would be a monarch's life simulator? And I don't mean "The Sims Medieval" ;)
I'm talking about a complex, Paradox-like game, where you simulate a life of a monarch, deal with historical events, declare edicts and so on (e.g. Elizabeth II would fit perfectly here). I looked and looked and didn't find anything like that. Could you help me please, thank you!

Sound like you are describing the upcoming game Crusader Kings 2.

Well, I really do hope for :)
Yet, I am talking about something else: not the game where you rule, marry and die and after your death someone else is taking your place. I am not talking about a strategy, where you manage your realm from the perspective of a country as a whole. I am trying to find a game, which focuses precisely on one, single monarch's life and deal with historical events, yes, but also with personal issues and has the power to change history. Still, I don't believe such a game exists, unfortunately.

Well, you could play CK2 and quit after your first monarch dies? You're going to be hard pressed to find a historic game where you can do a lot in the life of one monarch.

I wonder if he'd enjoy his games so much if you removed every file you're responsible for. :p

Since Gars is currently on holiday there's no one to notice what I add to the Sengoku event files. Godzilla and ninjas based on Naruto ahoy!

I'll be honest, it's a good thing that game was never made. Not Pdox's finest moment. :p

For the Mothland was by far the greatest game never made. I mourn its loss daily.

The Japanese could barely deal with Godzilla using tanks. What hope do we have as players when fighting it when we only have swords?

Japanese swords trump tanks. A guy wielding a katana can cut any tank into shreds. It's true, I've seen it in anime! :D

Exactly, yet the CK's 2 mechanics makes it just, well, stupid to play only until a monarch dies. Well, perhaps one day such a game of my dreams will be created :)
