Honestly there may be a clue in that is it doomdark or groogy who loathe roman history? One of then explicitly stated he find Rome increadibly boring.

When I first saw this I thought of the CKII mod and I was like, "Did I get lost in the mod forum some how? No... these others are games, so why is this a mod?" And than I realized Paradox just had something else with an identical name.

O dear, could you find a reference for that? It couls also be an inside joke he made after he was just apointed chief of a Roman/ancient empire GSG
Sorry it's buried somehwere I think it might have been in one of the dev diaries for horselords. And yeah it might have been around the time Birken was appointed head dev.

That's why we're discussing Greece :p

They are making a game about bankruptcy and bailouts?

World's first real banking simulator confirmed!

And I would buy that. Wanted to play a banking game for a long time.

The problem with making a Eurasia it would have to have the map about 7 times maybe 10 times bigger than what Paradox GSG's have had in the past.

For an ancient times game Greece alone would require to have about an extra 10 provinces to have all the historically significant City States/Kingdoms playable.

Neither EU nor CK2 have enough provinces to have all the historically significant principalities in the HRE. We have to accept abstraction. And I'm sure we will see map mods like my one for CK2 with endless provinces!

Play nice

Not very helpful. CK2 and HoI3 are so different that this "hint" doesn't point to any direction!

What have I done wrong here?

Well all of these 'hints' have been trollish jokes anyway. We just have to wait until real info comes out some day.

Stiil,

it's the "Farm Life in Flanders during WWI" simulator.

I totally stick with that.

Joking about greeces economy is a tad bit insensitive.

Sounds great the german and french both till the land for you and add fertelizer.

Ah, my bad then. Sorry, didn't realise the situation was that serious.
Well I'm not greek so it's not to me, but to people who are from there I have understood it to be.

There's also a mini action game included where you bring back your cows home from the field and try to avoid falling artillery grenades killing them.
Coool, eh ? Kinda like in the original Return-of-the-Jedi (1984) game.

Also, manage your relations in your village, get drunk in the bar, seduce the bakers wife and organise intrigue with the local priest.
Meanwhile make deals with the axis or the allies about food deliveries and trench managment.
Special events will make you discover some old roman buildings beneath your fields. Archeology ! Shams wrote those.

Top game. Also catchy name.
A safe bet.

If it's really necessary they could just make Greece more detailed than, say, Persia and then balance it out by making the average province there poorer than it would be if the provinces were consistently sized across the map.

Didn't Japanese continue to use their modernized Katana-based swords until the very end of the war?
