I'm fairly busy tommorrow, but might be able to slip in a couple of hours in either the morning or just before our Sunday night HOI2 game.

The Ottomans are in a healthy position now, those the fact that I took another loan when I had a healthy bank balance seemed a little strange. It did happen when I was sending some mearchants off to a CoT, so maybe some latency when I did it might have caused it.

I look forward to our next session where my excellent military leaders can further spread the banner of Islam!
 
I'll check my roster at work and let you guys know when I have the next night off. I am already booked Monday and Tuesday for HOI, so can't do that.

Interesting session for Austria. Lot's of wars, lot's of people hate us. Territory was taken from Venice giving Austria a port into the Adriatic sea. A small flotilla of war ships was constructed which allowed for a naval landing in Napoli at sessions end. Once the rich southern Italian state is annexed, we may turn our attentions back to the Center of Trade in Venice. The capital of Venice would make a fine addition to a growing Austrian empire and produce much needed income to put Austria in the running as one of the more economically powerful nations in Europe. We are however concerned over the growing power in the north in the form of Russia, so as a means to combat this a secret aggreement was made with the Ottomans. We are racing to see who gets to Moscow first. :D SE.
 
Dudes I have done some editing to the setup, the following changes have been made.

Gaelic added to England
Italian added to Austria (also -15% inflation one and only bail out)
Altai and Ugric added to Muscovy
Albanian and Kurdish added to Ottomans

Hows everyone for a wednesday night session?
 
Don't I get Kurdish from an event later on?

Anyways, the inflation thing is probably good and I guess with people still learning the ropes the rest is ok.

Wednesday is fine for me, unless we want to try and squeeze in a couple of hours this afternoon.

I'm free this arvo.

With the cultures, it has always annoyed me that countries don't have the cultures for regions they histoircally controlled for centuries with little problem. In all cases what I gae to each of us are simply regions our countries dominated or controlled in this period.
 
Well we might be able to play a session today, me and stalin ment to bep laying a hoi session but might not be on by the looks of it.

So if joel is free we can play from any time this arvo to 7pm, the sunday game.

Come on TS joel as soon as your free, me, stalin and system here. We will play BF2 until you turn up. So hurry up, i want to conquer the ottomans.

Well Guys. I can only play until about 6.30 as I have an 8pm start tonight. I was cutting it close last night. SE.

Random thread spammers aside, a good session there.

The Ottomans enjoyed a period of stability with only one successful war against Moldova that ended with that kingdoms vassalisation and surrendering of Bujak.

Elsewhere Islam spread with success in the Ionian islands, Corfu, and Morea. Under the energetic leadership of Mehmet, the Ottomans now look to spread their power further. Will it be the Spanish holdings of Kosovo/Ragusa/Albania? The Hungarian plains, or perhaps a southern push against the Mamelukes...?
 
Although short, was a reasonable session for Austria. We annexed what was left of the state of Napoli and took a wealthy Italian city state. We also inherited a sizeable navy from our new subjects in Napoli. War broke out almost immediately with the Castillian and Argonese alliance which saw Austrian armies and navy destroy a large proportion of the Spanish armed forces. After the city of Apulia was beseiged and taken, Castille was forced to offer peace terms which saw most of it's treasury emptied and handed to the Austrian crown. With a stable peace now obtained with the Spanish, were should Austria turn her attentions next. The final destruction of Venice, or should we move on some of the rich German duchies in northern Europe?

Joel it would be appreciated if you could manage to bring it apon yourself to leave the Hungarians (and me for that matter), unmolestered. I might also point out that England has been somewhat quite through all this, perhaps they are the ones in need of Ottoman and Austrian attention...

I have to work wednesday night. I can't get out of it as one of our guys has just gone full time at another store and one is leaving in a couple of weeks, and bluntly I need the money. I will look at it so we can all work out a time were we can all continue this session. I will keep you guys informed. SE.
 
Ok I guess we can aim for a Saturday session, and failing that use this game as a stop gap if the HOI2 games are cancelled for soem reason. Mike has my phone number and can get a hold of me if you guys want to play. No gurantees on my availability though, my sister uses the computer a lot.
 
Thats a shame. Maybe Joel, System and myself can have a game of EU II just for us. As stalin does work alot of nights. Im still free wedensday night to play.

In the game Moscovy is doing well. An early war secured the province Pskov. Many years were spend doing economic development. A war against Kazan which had recently decleared independance from the golden horde, was succesful with its lands added to the realm.

A numer of wars against the golden horde and its allie noki have expanded moscovy's borders greatly. As the recent session ended much of the land of the golden horde are now under the control of moscovy. Our plans call for the war to be waged to gain as much land as we can and carry the war to noki as they are a constant thorn in our ambitions.

In a war to our north against novograd the realms of ollents and tver were added to the empire. A second war against novograde secured novograd itself and it was annexed. The Centre of trade was tranfered to moscow. The event which lead to moscow becoming the new centre of trade also gave us 20,000 cav which was used against the golden horde.

Moscovys stands as a rapidly growing power with a strong economic base developing. The provinces of samara and novograd have helped us greatly on the economic front.

The future looks bright, as mosocvy keeps and eye on its northern borders with sweden and lithuania as the main threats. The growing power of the ottomans to the south are also of a concern. Any apporachment on lands with russian culture and religion will result in moscovy intervening militarily to protect our brothers.
 
Well we could play the save without SE, any damage done by the ai can be easily fixed by edit. Anything is possible with edits even province ownership etc. In my old MP days I created whole nations with armies and incomes from scratch so its easy to do.
