The most secretive of all nations. No one knows their government. No one knows, if they even exist...
...damn, 745 belligerence? That's wild.

Alpenfestung? Why not Danzig-Festung instead?

Actually, this (from the same game) might also be "awesome" for the purposes of the this thread:

The only modification I did was altering the date Nigeria becomes possible to liberate, from 1940 to 1933. They started out with 4 IC, but I got rich by selling blueprints (which I got from being in the Allies) to neutral countries, which allowed me to spam the "fund new industries" decision for the first few crucial years. I fought the Italians in Africa, but otherwise stayed out of the affairs of my former colonial masters.

Nigeria gets an absolutely unholy amount of manpower, which would be an incredible combination with high enough IC. By 1960 I probably could have prolonged service further, built a 100-division army, ferried it to Europe, started WW3 against the USSR and won it.

Those neutral countries don't need to be neutral anymore!
Why don't you go for a shopping spree in South Africa or the Middle East? :D

It actually would have been very interesting to try and build a pan-African superstate, but since vanilla DH does not seem to know the concept of decolonization very well (so I'd have to fight the Allies), and with the USA having the A-bomb, it probably would have ended quite messily.

The Battle of Budapest in my Peace Without Victory run from 1917-1944. They eventually came back two months later with even more men and Austria-Hungary fell.

Playing my second game in DHF'36 as Japan. Manage to blitzkreiging China without any mobilization, despite 150+ free divisions by event for AI support (even getting most of them later as China-Nanjing puppet, heh).

Still can't say anything good about even land AI (compared to vanilla hoi2, which I played alot in recent years). Another example is on this screen, where Ger AI experienced nearly stalemate in France in summer '40, despite formidable buildup of panzers (8 full armors vs. 2 french l-arm). Just because 5 of them was buried in Freiburg rocks... along with 5 HQ units.

Egde of Darkness; as Germany.

Double Envelopment France 1940.

Luftwaffe's 3300 aircraft attacked the Netherlands for four days only. It lost 400 fighters but crushed the Dutch army. As part of the Luftwaffe's attack, it dropped 3 Paratroop divisions simultaneously. By the end of those four days, all Dutch units were either on the retreat or had to surrender. The Sedan-Panzer corridor to the sea received no air cover for the first four days.

This picture tells a story on its own. I am playing as Sov, it's 1942. The Germans and Romanians broke into Crimea and I spent half a year trying to flush them out, with characteristically embarrassing consequences. Finally after much effort and misery on my part I managed to entrap and clear out the group in Kerch. However one half strength motorized division broke out into Novorossiysk, which I've foolishly left uncovered, EVEN though I've held two infantry divisions there before for that purpose. Since I've had no military presence there, that single, half strength division ended up taking ALL of the Caucasus all the way up to Baku (which I've covered with a garrisson division thankfulkly). As a result my entire oil production ground to zero, leading to a strategic crisis (as you can see on the top of the screenshot). I can only imagine the amount of shootings Stalin must have ordered for that occasion (ironically this happening COINCIDED with yet another in game purge event). Now I have to beg the filthy capitalists in UK and US to trade oil, which they generously provision me in return for a token offering of wood boxes.

I spent another half a year chasing the blasted motorized division all over the caucausus like an annoying fly. What's worse is that my sole infantry units that I've spared from the front actually can't defeat it on their own, even though it's out of supply and half strength. I can almost picture that motorized division fighting its way out of the traps and ambushes that the Soviets set up for it, and winning battles again and again reminded me if a Sam Peckinpah film. Finally I had plopped 3 motorized divisions in the Caucasus and redeployed some militia units just to finish off the pesky bastards, leading undoubedly to a valiant but futile last stand like in Wild Bunch.

Quite frankly as a writer, I can write a gripping alt history novel about the motorized division's exploits just from the screenshot below.

I managed to unite China as Yunnan Clique, all normal settings(no tech take over,no ic take over):

I got very lucky in Xinjiang at the beginning which I never seen before, somehow the rebels were defeated before Soviet intervention which allowed me to annex them after I conquered Tibet early on. You need to declare war on China in 1937 so when Japan does marco polo incident you won't get dragged into the alliance with China but just peace out with them instead. Yunnan Clique also gets cores on Chongqing and Chengdu which is very good since China moves their industry there when Japan attacks, so the key is to declare war on China after they move their industry and quickly take the two cities for IC and to cripple China. Another thing is if you annex China or her puppets you get all their troops and manpower so you need to annex Xibei as quickly as possible for troops and then annex China to get their big army to defeat Japan later. WW2 in my game ended in early 1948 with Japan surrendering after nukes.

Also a funny event happened after Japan surrendered:
