I fell asleep watching the Pistons whip up on the Lakers last night. That's what I get for only sleeping 4 hours the night before. ;)

Thursday morning local time is a possibility again. And on Friday at 1300 GMT my vacation begins, altough I still have to get home, I'll be home around 1400 GMT, if on the other side of the pond ther is interest for a morning game for you :)

Thursday Morning (Finnish Time) is a possibility. Friday morning (my time), sadly, is not this week. I have two new movies coming in, and so I have quite a bit of work that I'll need to get done on Friday.

Can you guys help me with my Router
What router do you have?
What sort of connection?
You told you've played EU2 with your router in the past, is that still possible? If not, I'd suggest you check the router as if you were doing it from the start. Check the correct ports etc. In my sig you can find "What you need to know to play EU2 MP?" (applies also to CK, in fact I'll change the sig to show that), there's some help available in the second post of that thread and some helpful links.

Your router worked fine on sunday Cas.

Also, as we tested that my comp CK MP, I would be interested in joining in. As Wielkopolska, as I guess it's free.

Byak, do you remember that I told you that I was in my girlfriend's house?? My router is the same but I think that he restarted... do guys know how to reconfigure it? Because I dont understand nothing :(

BTW, if I cant fix my router no problem that byak sub me in Wielkopolska, but I ll try every possibilities to be able to play with you.

Well, my new router is up, and already configured, should be working fine...

Jark, what ports do I need to open?!

Sterkarm, did you solve your problems? If you still have problems, take a look at the link in my sig.

We should try the connection at some time (today?), so that you would get into "business" too :) Testing the connection when others are waiting for the game to start is perhaps not a too good idea...

Contact me via ICQ whenever you're online and I'll probably be able to test it.

It's alive! The connection works, I'm ready to play whenever. But I would REALLY prefer a restart, to make everything fair, please?

Well, I would support a second modded scenario, personally. I don't think I would want to restart the Poland game (because nothing's really happened, but a lot of interresting story has begun to build up, such as Silesia and Weilkopolska's rivalry and Mazovia's familial issues,) but if we wanted to use basically the same rules and play somewhere else, that would be cool. Poland isn't my favorite place to play anyways...

Well, I'd be fine with continuing, but unfortunately, I have lost the prime years of my monarch's life. If my monarch was edited to age 17 and possibly have his wife/children deleted or edited down in age, I'd be completely fine with continuing.

I got my duke edited from the child of late duke of Wielkopolska. And it was easy, so I think it's very much possible to edit the firstborn of duke of Krakow to suit you, Sterk and then use the magic word "Die" on the current duke.

Though I share Patrucio's opinion that Poland and Piasts isn't the most interesting scenario...

nah, it'd be easier to kill off my sons and wife and edit my age down. Also, better, at least I feel.

Come on, I was the one who suggested Poland, yet I've never gotten to play it! Actually, perhaps it would be better if we started in 1187 (closer to Mongols, crusade, etc.)?

Sounds like a good idea :)

With the release of 1.03, I now support starting over. However, we would obviously be playing a 1.03 game. Since it's brand new, I figure what better opportunity to test out our new toys in 1.03 than our regular MP session Saturday Night (US)/Sunday Morning (Finland)? (As an aside, I think it's kind of amusing that the foursome that has emerged is two Midwestern Yankees and two Finns.)

I think we should just make a go of an established scenario w/o modded characters, but we can use the same character rules if y'all want. As for where we play, I have two ideas:

Idea #1
German/HRE Counts under the same Duke. Why German Counts?

1) Since Germany's all semi-sallic now, advancing ourselves through marriage will be easier.

2) Starting out at the bottom of the totem pole will make for a more dramatic arc of development.

3) Germany's big, so we have a wide laitiude of where we would like to be (Italy? Next to the Pagans? In the Alps?)

Idea #2
Irish Counts. Why Ireland?

1) The smallness of the space would force us to interact with each other more than with NPCs.

2) Distance and smallness of counties makes Crusading a non-issue.

3) Will give us lots of incentive to play with the new allying toys as we struggle for the Irish Throne.
