Just to clarify guys, her maiden name is Naomi HaMaadimi.
And thank you all.
Well, at 83 pages start to finish, it will be a fair binge.Congratulations @CBR JGWRR ! A good story indeed, if which I am woefully behind.... And I am not good at binging anything.![]()
Looking forward to it.Congratulations @CBR JGWRR and Naomi! I should really take a look at Life 2.0 and the other works at some point .
Congratulations @Macavity116 !
Congrats @Macavity116
Oh, my gosh! Thank you!A villain counts. Congrats @Macavity116! Yet another great character.
You know, this is the second time that someone nominated me for this awAARd because of a villainous character. I guess Araj Zilfallon and Akira Robinson are officially in the same narrative weight class now. While many characters in the narrative stand out, Araj stands out in particular.
It is not often that we get nominations for the main villain in a narrative; the focus is on the heroes of the story and how they face down the schemes of their enemy. But Araj is one of those stand-out villains who feels like a complete character and a worthy foil to our protagonists, a man true to his beliefs, and above all, is memorable and makes you look forward to when he gets his comeuppance in a cathartic way.
Congrats to you @Macavity116 . Well deserved. I am still catching up slowly with your new one. I have also refrained from putting you on the nomination list when given the opportunity because I knew it would put you in a time bind. Rewards are sometimes mixed blessings. Congratulations nonetheless.Oh, my gosh! Thank you!

I know my house rules insist on the posting of a new chapter as soon as a weekly awAARd comes my way, but I will have to ask for your patience, everyone. A new chapter of Unsung Paragons was posted a few hours ago specifically because the military is asking me to do extra duty before the overseas deployment starts.
I will move quickly to bring you an extra chapter this week, but some extra time is required. Again, my most humble thanks!![]()
Congratulations @Macavity116!
Many thanks!Congratulations @Macavity116 , now I was reminded I am a bit behind.![]()
I see you, @El Pip. I'll admit I'm going to miss these back-and-forth exchanges. Hopefully I won't traumatize you too much when I return to the forums next year.I'm going to skip the usual spiel, I'm concerned it may come across as mean spirited if repeated too often. But rest assured I am absolutely still thinking it.
I have to agree. If you factor in the incredibly positive reception The Broken Gates got over on the CKIII AAR Forum, then you could say I now have three villains who stand above the rest of my original characters as my most memorable creations. I've made over 700 named original characters for my stories since 2006 (yes, really) but the ones who get the most attention were the trio of primary evildoers: Akira "Paradox" Robinson, Malum Ralpakin, and now Araj Zilfallon.Congratulations @Macavity116, as others have said it is an impressive feat to get a villain nominated for one of these awards. They can be far harder to write well than a hero.
