So, what's new or repaired (appart from the alliance-cascade thing). Should I play this over epigoni or should I wait for the complete patch?

BTW, thank you for keeping the game alive. I really love Rome... it would be great if different civs had different units like EUIII and more casus belli options. Those would be nice additions, I think.

Did you read the change log in the post linked in the OP of this thread?

OMG. I skipped the link, sorry! Time to read!

So happy that it's still being worked on.

I'd love to see a EU:Rome II. :D

Just randomly decided to check the Rome Forum....turns out there's been a patch...and looks like there will be more.....now I need to make sure I still have Rome installed....I love P'dox.

Steam doesn't have this, so I should apply it manually right?
No download distributor has it, that's a consequence of it being beta (ie unofficial).

Do not apply it to your Steam installation, as Steam will overwrite it back to 2.32. instead copy the whole Rome directory structure elsewhere, like c:\games\rome-beta\ and then apply this beta over that installation only.

No, sorry. PI don't tend to pre-announce such dates, as it sets expectations that are often disappointed.

My guess is they're working on this "when there's free time" so don't hold your breath for any fast progress. I remember some EU3 patches staying as beta for some months as well. I think the last HttT patch took a long while from going from beta to official.

Thanks everyone. I know Parodox patches always allways come out exactly when Paradox wants them to but every once in a while someone gives a hint of when that will be in advance.

Does this seem like an unusually long beta period? I know Paradox doesn't rush patches but this patch has been sitting for a while.
It's barely over 2 months since this beta was released, by no means is that unusually long. Some took over a year.

Also, current V2 beta has been up for a month longer than this one. Though since House Divided is supposed to be released on January I think they have to put it as official pretty soon.

*cough* Crusader Kings Deus Vult 2.1 *cough*

I wouldn't be worried about two months.
