Unfortunately again no developer who plays MegaCorps in his spare time. Maybe in the next patch.

I'm surprised that nobody else misses this feature. The AI usually has a branch on every planet, even if it would only pay off after more than 5,000 years. It's always fun during an enemy takeover.

If a BO would take 5000 years to pay for itself, that sounds like a balance issue with the cost of BOs rather than a UI improvement necessary. After all, the AI doesn't use the UI and if the BOs are tuned that badly that is the underlying problem.
 
From what I understand, due to the game engine designing new interfaces is quite hard and laborious.

That's the reason why we haven't seen any changes regarding the branch office browser, gene modding interface, or why we don't have a starbase designer and we have the whole defense platform conundrum instead.

There is really no good option without modding the game and losing achievements to play as a megacorp, and criminal syndicates are worse. Please make another pass at the Megacorp DLC something the custodians prioritize. It could add so much more to the game than it does right now.

100%. I visit this thread every time an update comes out, hoping to high heaven playing as a megacorporation will finally be fun and no longer a chore. Never give up! Never surrender!
