First bug.

I was playing Denmark (1836-1839) just to learn the do's and don'ts, and cheated like Bill Clinton. Build a couple of colony buildings in Africa, Nigeria and so on.
Then I were ready to play for real, and started as USA.
Those colony buildings were still there (1836).
I had to restart the whole game to get 'em off the map.
No biggi, but I thought that you most exelent guys at Paradox would be interrested.

Blah. My copy has yet to ship and you are already finding bugs.

I'm guessing that 1.01 will be available very soon. It certainly was with HoI

Cheers, Ice

Running under windows xp have had the same problem with EU2 and HoI sometimes but then i restart my comp and it works again.

Perhaps it is the intro? Get rid of the files for it.

I remember, Paradox intros and XP never got along well together...

*shrug*

Try getting another vers. of Bink-Video-Player (XP version perhaps?), that was my problem when I had win98.

Rename or delete the .avi files - binkplayer occasionally has issues. Consider getting the latest binkplayer from their homepage.

Nah i get past that, its when i have chosen country and press start that it chrashes and shuts itself off.

Something with your graphic card drivers then.. Because it switches resolution then.

Mine doesn´t crash though...I just fired it up for the first time.

What I´m wondering about though is the text...the box beneath the country flags usually gives a brief description about the country you are about to play with. This box is now empty.
Am I doing something wrong perhaps?

[Edit] Come to think of it they problably decided to leave those descriptive texts out. I can understand that (the hours used to write those could be put to better use). Too bad though...I really liked those historic background texts in HOI and EU 2!

No text for me neither, but I don't think it is anything wrong, since I have a complete trust in Paradox game-planning. :)

Yeah...it´s prolly WAD...I just edited my post. Guess I need to buy some history books instead. :)

Besides...I´m sure there are a lot of history buffs just dying to do some historic background texts of their own! :)
