[BUG][Steam] Start menu missing

I tried searching the forums, couldn't find anything related to this. Then again, the search isn't exactly working for me.

Anyways, I know Paradox just loves DLCs, but since I couldn't find a "start menu DLC" in the market, I'm assuming the game should come with one.

So yeah, when I open the game, all I can see is few logos and then the part where the Menu is obviously supposed to be, but there are no buttons to press. No "New Game" or anything.

I got the steam version, windows 7 64bit, Ati HD Radeon 6970 and well over the requirements for RAM and CPU

If you register your game on the forum (using the forum key provided by Steam) you will be able to access the tech support subforum for CiM2.

Once you have done that you will be able to see if others have reported the same or similar issue(s). There is at least one thread that seems to be about a similar issue.

Okey, my problem was caused by having # in the filepath.
Fixed it simply by installing in a path without the #
