Are you using Armageddon 1.3? I had this to but when switiching to 1.2 it was gone.
Are you using Armageddon 1.3?
Yes !
I don't like going back to an old version (I should reinstall everything !)
I think it's better to wait for a patch by the IC team.
Thanks anyway !
Cheers
Yes, I detected this. I will solve it
Many thanks
EDIT: You can play with 1934 scenario, don't have this problem
Hi is there allready a hotfix for this problem? Or can you tell me which file I have to edit? I want to start a new 1933 game AOD-IC with (now working, thanks again) 1.05 today.
Sorry, but Iron Cross is for arma 1.2. 1.3 is not a official patch (is not a paradox patch), and we can't give official support
You need a clean arma 1.2.
To solve this, you don't need reinstall everything
Download the .zip View attachment 28661 and copy the 3 files to gfx\interface\button area
Yes, What country are you playing?
Germany again. But it would be nice if all countries would perform as planed.
Polish GDE is 100%. I think that causes the problem.
Edit: As almost every nation has 100% I think this is WAD.
BUT Germany has only 80% in the 1933-Campaign. In the 1934-Campaign it also has 100%.
This wasn't WAD, was it? Since I want to play a 1933 Campaign, I thought there must be some changes to avoid the problem where my 24 units can't scratch 4 polish units.
<-- I have the very same problem. There is something wrong with the game mechanics. I'm an experienced HoI 2 player and have way more troops each equipped with brigades and so on - and still the Polish are fighting as if each of them was a mixture of Rambo-Terminator-Darth Vader-type of guy. AOD 1.05 Germany normal / normal here as well!
Im my case everything is good except this.Im palying as Germany. And in 1933 scenario catalonia declare war to republican Spain. Thats never hapened in rela history.
Catalans, inhabitants of Catalonia, were perturbed by the swing of Spain's central government to the right, by its overturning of an agrarian law passed by the Catalan Generalided (local assembly), and by the slow implementation of a statute of autonomy for Catalonia. Leftists and communists led a general strike on October 5, 1934; the semi-fascist Catalan police, called escamots, brutally opposed the leftist strikers, creating turmoil in Catalonia. On October 6, 1934, Spain's President Niceto Alcala Zamora y Torres (1877-1949) proclaimed martial law throughout Spain, and that night Luis Companys (1883-1940), president of the Generalidad, declared Catalonia a fully independent republic. Immediately government troops moved in, killed several rebels, and squashed the separatist movment; the Catalan government, including Companys, was jailed for revolting against Spain's legal authority; the proclamation for Catalan autonomy was voided; and Madrid (the central government) regained control of Catalonia.
I have a similar problem. Played the 33 scenario (normal normal) as germany and focused on Infantry and Tanks. Equipped my units with (SP) Artillery Brigades and researched ground warfare doctrins.<-- I have the very same problem. There is something wrong with the game mechanics. I'm an experienced HoI 2 player and have way more troops each equipped with brigades and so on - and still the Polish are fighting as if each of them was a mixture of Rambo-Terminator-Darth Vader-type of guy. Whats GDE, how can i change it?Moll said:I really think it has to do with the lower German GDE in the 1933-Campaign. After I edited one of my savegames, I steamrolled Poland as expected.
Some of the countries start the 1933-Campaign with only 80% GDE (Italy included). Those 20% are a really big disadvantage.
