Next Monday, Dec 7th: Doubtful Starter

I might not be able to play this Monday. At the moment, it looks like about a 50/50 chance. If I don't show up, please start without me. I'm sure Egypt can survive one session under the AI and I think it is better that we play every week rather than loose momentum.

Please wait for me tonight. I should be there hopefully before start, but I have to run a couple errands on the way home from work.

Session V: 518-521 AVC

Country List:

Rome: HotSax
Armenia: Pax25
Macedonia: Camara
Egypt: KenG

We didn't cover much ground in tonight's session. It got off to a late start, came to an early end, and ran at speed 1 for most of the time. My bad. Still, Egypt managed to erupt into yet another Civil War, as did Carthage. Pontus set out to finish off Seleucid, and Armenia fumed because it wasn't invited to the party.

The save file for next session is posted below:

Count me in, as long as you guys can wait for me to get home from work. I should be back close to the start time.

I worked late and just got home to see these last few posts about playing tonight. I'll head over to MetaServer, but I'm sure you are all gone by now.

No worries Ken, we'll just continue on Monday.

Hey guys, I'm scheduled to close on my mortgage refinance this afternoon at 4:30 pm CST, but I hopefully should be back in time for tonight's session. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case I am a little late.

Session VI: 521 - 533 AVC

Country List:

Armenia: Pax25
Macedonia: Camara
Rome: HotSax
Egypt: KenG

A flawless but quiet session. Rome moved farther into Gaul, almost reaching the end of the earth. Macedonia also expanded northward, and then circled around to the east, laying claim to much of the Black Sea littoral. As usual, the Armenians growled, howled, and chased their tails, as mad dogs are wont to do. Egypt continued on its path to becoming the most learned, kind, and beneficent civilization the world has ever seen.

See you all next week.

So... are we gonna have a game this week w/ the holidays coming up? I'm all for it if you guys are able to.

Next Session: Game on

Sure we're going to play this Monday, December 20th. Why not? Here in DC we're in the middle of a big snow storm. I might not have to go to work tomorrow, but even if I do, I plan on being back by game time.

See you all tomorrow at 6:30 est (gmt-5)/5:30 central (gmt-6).

I'll be there

That is all.

Session VII: Postponed to 12/28/2009

We decided to postpone this evening's session due to HotSax's absence. We could have just feasted on Rome as played by the AI, but why let HotSax miss out on the fun of watching Rome crumble before his very own eyes?

Next Monday: Navis Romanae concido et extermino

Well, that's not the official session title or anything, just the dictum in via.

See you next week. Till then:
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah

Ken, have you taken over the smack talking in Shelt's absence? :)

I'm really sorry guys. I completely forgot about the game yesterday, as we had no school, so I ended up staying out most of the day :p.

In the meta, where are you guys?

Okay guys, I showed up a couple minutes past 5:30 CST and waited til close to 6:00. I'm assuming you either started early without me, or noone showed up.
