Hi, first time poster :) .
I just got TC2M and so far I like what I see but got a huge problem.
I can't move any of my troops.
I tried the tutorial and followed the instructions(click on your flag and double click) but nothing is happening.
Needless to say it is slightly annoying :(
Anyone else had this problem ??

No, but are you sure you have selected a unit that is under your command ? And not a unit that is under the command of the AI ?

It is the only thing I can come up with.

Are you playing the first tutorial? If you are having problems, you might want to post over at our site, we have a huge wealth of people with lots of experience solving issues in the engine.
 
Try this: Once you have control of the officer (your sprite) double click at a spot on the map you want the whole unit to move to, THEN click on a formation. If the troops don't start moving then you have a problem with the game.

Hi, i am Sergio from Italy, same problem to me, demo is ok for official's moviment and troop double click in flag, for complete game i click in flag, and the official doesn't move :mad: , this is a bug???.

I only got the game yesterday so am not too knowledgable on it. But there are sevreal units you may select that you cannot move, this is because they are not under your command / not in your oob. These units will have no available icons in the lower right portion of the screen. They are under the command of an AI officer, if you don't outrank that officer then you can't 'take command' either. Maybe this could be the answer to the original post.

TB666 posted this problem over at the MadMinute forums, and they spend FOUR pages trying to help him, and all the while he denies that he's using a crack ("that can't be"), and then on page four he admits he's using a crack, and everyone yells at him for wasting four pages of everyone's time.

Should have been honest about it in on the first page, dumbass.

EDIT: And yes in case anyone is still confused, this no movement (and blue text) problem is caused by people using no-cd cracks.
 
What's a crack? :confused:
 
I had the same problem when I started playing, it was my mouse and it's sensitivity and using the correct order of clicking to get the units to move. I would click the cmdr then location and then brigade formation, dbl click was the problem, lowered my mouse sensitivity and everything worked.
 
I cleary admit that i am using a crack - in my country no one ever buys original games (we just torrent/d'load/hack/crack everything:)) but i have the samo problem with the movement and if someone knows how to fix it please tell me beacause the game is nice and I really get annoyed when i can't play it :)

I bought my copy from Paradox. It works great. That's the best fix I can recommend and should reduce annoyance all the way around.

You know what annoys me? When someone steals a game and then try to get support on the publisher's website.

:rolleyes: I don't pirate games, but use no-CD cracks on my legit games nonetheless. I've got a laptop with a very loud CD drive and it's extremely annoying if the CD is spinning all the time.
