I want it so badly, my teeth hurt.

Did anybody say Richard III? :D

And don't forget Edward II and Robert Bruce. They are not really kinslayers, but rather "peculiar" on their own, the former being a weak, impulsive bugger and the latter suffering from leper. :D

Some online dictionary :p (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Stewardship)

stew·ard n.
1-One who manages another's property, finances, or other affairs.
2-One who is in charge of the household affairs of a large estate, club, hotel, or resort.
3-A ship's officer who is in charge of provisions and dining arrangements.
4-An attendant on a ship or airplane.
5-An official who supervises or helps to manage an event.
6-A shop steward.
7-A wine steward.

Stewardship
\Stew"ard*ship\, n. The office of a steward

well now select the definition who suits the medieval time better :p

and remember that no airships existed back then :D

Each character has its own prestige/piety, 4 attributes, and loads of traits that can be on/off.. Traits include things like illness, cowardness etc.

Are we gonna get a screenie showing some of those traits??? I like the screenie showing all the vassals, liege (though none in that case), family members, and the 4 attributes on that other website (I dont want to ask why they got the screenies and the official homepage hasn't yet). I would figure those "traits" would be on that same page. Does Philippe just not have any? Is it not implemented yet? On another screen?

I'd love to see some examples!

I've never played any total war games, so dunno how those games work.. This is from the old design we had before the first team started in spring of 2001. (now the game is on its 3rd dev.team, this time I'm in charge of it..)
Prestige-Piety-Gold <-- Score-values (changing all the time.)
Martial, Diplomacy, Intrigue, Stewardship <-- Attributes
About 70 different traits that give benefits/penalties, some more examples are "Kinslayer", "Naive Wirepuller", "Lisp" :) In theory a char could have a rather large amount of traits.

Wow, this sounds great. The traits and all, not the thing about development teams. That sounds ugly. Like some of the people in the pictures I've seen.

Bah, he was just a victim of bad press. :)

Well you probably could, but you will have to build a wall of psychosis as big as the Roman Empire just to contain your character.

~EC~
Royal Executioner: My liege, but why do you want to become a hunchback?

King: Shut up and turn the wheel a bit more. I hear the bones cracking already.

:D

Yeah, we could have competitions to see who could attain a certain set of traits fastest. I want a sado-masochistic Rotarian crackhead with dyslexia at the top of my dynasty, dammit.
