If austria and venice peace out then we will continue to help france. We cant see him over run again by spain.

This rule is the most violated and the most frequently changed without the rest of the players beeing noticed ever . Since the rules were again changed without beeing properly discussed, I am not aware of this change and will act as if it never happened .
And the clarity of it is the sepparate issue: "adjencent" is probably "adjacent", meaning next to, but also close to, which is much more relative term. As for "no provinces out of the blue", could that mean not a single land map can be exchanged, since all land onthe Earth is on larger or smaller islands arrising from the "blue" (oceans)? :rofl:

Spain i propose Andalusia and Gibraltar to Portugal, in exchange i will become your loyal vassel.

On Denis` place, i wouldn`t give any province - brave Seventh would redow 5-10 years again to split Spain completely to put in "historical borders", which you all love, and kick Spain from Italy (but Venice won`t return islands surely).
As last information, i have to notice the world, that Venice had to pay 3600 ducats to Spain on deferred terms before 1600 for those 9 islands (it is around net price of 10 colonists + bailiff in fact), but it seems like Venice broke this deal immediatly, like previous promise to defend Spain in Med. sea.

Hey, i asked Denis several times ingame about the deal, and i didn't get any response. So when Spain was at war with 5 nations, i saw my change to take what could be mine.
Might be Tonioz, but being Spains puppet for a whole game gets kinda boring. Why should only Spain be a great nation, when Portugal has the potencial too. I didn't see you "giving" me any islands in the Carribian.

In my opinion a war debt, ie. a sum promised to be paid in a peace deal but not included in the game technical part should have to be paid within a time that should be arranged between the parties. Before the sum is paid the loser of the war shouldn't be allowed to participate in wars vs the winning party ie. it should be prohibited to lose a war, and the later fight a successful war to get out of debt, potentially with a large coalition. This is similar to having to stay vassalized for 20 years after losing a war over that issue.
On the other hand payments for services, land etc should have to be collected. Here a nation can protect itself by collecting the money or not giving the entire part of the bargain before some payments are done.

Henry III, King of France, in his divine wisdom decided his predecessors were too ambitious when dreaming about France as colonial superpower in Africa and blinded by sin of pride when dreaming about forcing Spain with military means (me :rofl: :wacko: ) or diplomatic maneuverings to accept French goals both in Europe and in colonies.
France generally is not in the condition to pursue those goals and in the spirit of the latest peace talks between Spain and Austria&Brandenburg as well as Venice&Ottoman Empire, Henry III decided to do the same and the deal offered was gladly accepted by King of Spain.
The assumption for this agreement was all the current wars with Spain will end in the good will, with Austria and Venice getting "a few provinces" while Portugal, Flandres, Brandenburg and Ottoman Empire signing WP with Spain.

Just to be safe, I edited in what was written above. The actual FRA-SPA peace is to be signed in game first thing we enter and Spain is to pay 200 d/year for the next 10 years.
