To quote Norrefeldt: "AFAIK Austria have it's original cores. It's Bocajs 1453 scenario we are playing, and IMO he had quite strange ideas of how the Balkan provinces should be setup. Could be that."

Maybe the same for Venice and the Italian northen provinces?

The latest news I found on this subject is Venice-Spain seccond agreement regarding Italy:

The Doge of Venice and the King of Spain has signed an agreement​

The south italian provinses of Napoli, Apulia and Marche are returned to Venice, cores included, in exchange of the Iberian provinses of Oporto and Algarve. As payment for infrastructure, The Doge will finance the Spanish empire with 750 ducats.

I the new world Spain offers Rio Grande and Matagorda to The Doge, who in return finances the Spanish Empire with an additional 80 ducats.

So, nothing about cores in northern Italy. Those were sold/taken to/by Spain togeather with territory in the first deal, when Venice got Spanish Mediterranean islands.

Claims are pieces of paper saying one has some legal rights on some piece of land, right? If noone has them, perhaps they never existed, or perhaps they were lost or burned or destroyed in some other way or something :) .

Is the Doge trying to be smart again?
 
With Northern Italy i mean northern italy. Load a Bocaj's as Venice, and you'll se cores in Emilia, Liguria, Lombardia, Mantua, Marche, Roma, Romagna and Siena and Veneto. (almost sure of these).

If Spain didn't get them, where are they now?

As the rightfull owner of these provinses, i would like my cores back, or an explation of who has them. I know they can be traded/conquered, but they can't just disappear.

Btw. i would very much like to keep my seat for Chill 2. SP has become dull and boring, and that's your "fault", so i need my weekly dosis.

Actually, when *I* load bocaj's scenario as Venice, the only core in Northern Italy I have is Mantua. which means no cores are missing (I have the core on Mantua)


EDIT: that is version v0_8_1453 scenario, the version we used for this game.

Well, chill 1 is already not that easy to keep on trails... think of thi sone before talking about a chill 2 :p ;)
