country description for Arax coming soon!

Great!

(the main problem is to make it correspond with the timeline that only I know )

(and btw, smilie use fail detected.)

Here is my description for the country of Arax(opinions welcome!)

Arax was founded through the hell of the Maximian Civil War(1680-85 A.D), which was a result of the Maxmian Empire's attempt to tax the burgeoning slave trade in the Empire. Lord Nilus, a noble who built his wealth off of the slave trade, decided to become the representative of the wealthy landowners and slave holders in the Empire, which indirectly led to him becoming the revolutionary war hero and later first leader of Arax. After fighting for 5 years as the new nation of Arax's most talented general, he manage to use his natural command abilities to win many battles for Arax, eventually occupying the border of the Empire and temporarily the Imperial Capital. Emperor Maximius The IV was forced to surrender and sign an embaressing peace treaty that ceded the border regions of the Empire to the new nation of Arax.
For the next thirty years Lord Nilus ruled a stable military dictatorship comprised of landowners and slave holders, who brutally oppressed the people to remain in power. By 1935 the desendents of the revolutionary war heroes of Arax have carried on the family tradition of absolute military rule, which so far has served the interests of the wealthy powerful elite well. The current ruler, Supreme Ruler Aparde II, has bigger plans however. “Arax will soon encompass the old lands currently ruled over by the bastard sons of the ailing Empire. We will make a name for ourselves that all in Cifrasia will know!”
Will Supreme Ruler Aparde II's vision of a Arax Empire replacing the Old Maximian Empire actually become a reality, or is it simply the vision of a madman gone drunk with power? How will the Elite citizens of Arax respond to Aparde II's bold remark? And how will the oppressed common people react to this message of war? Will they finally take up arms and overthrow the military junta that has stepped over them for over 200 years, or will they simply accept the current state of Arax and see how things unfold, for better of for worse?

Not bad :)

Some pickings:

1) There wasn't any emperor called Maximius, neither were 4 of'em. I'll give a listing of all the rulers of Maximia later tomorrow/today (Aug 31).
2) Notice that the timeline of the mod begins in 2005. I made the same mistake while composing a description for Nohria. 1935 is used as starting point because I don't want to mess with NTL and such hell. Thus all the dates are turned 70 years back. 2005 becomes 1935, 1234 becomes 1184 etc. But the descriptions should run until the 2000s.
3) In "canon" timeline, Arax intervenes in war between Nohria and Gaurillea in late 2008 and sides with Gaurillea, thus becoming Empire's ally. However, both countries (Arax and the Empire) do have some border frictions.

Had no idea about the time line, for I did not create it. Will you still accept a revision of it? Also, what do you think of a uprising by the common man and a war between the Empire and Arax?Do you like the idea of a civil war that forged the nation of Arax? give me some more feedback.

Two words: I accept.

Two more words: I like.

Please continue. I'll just have to slightly "adjust" it according to my "vision" of the timeline and it will be really cool. Now it's simply cool.

How many events do you have in your mod right now?

I may be able to make(or at least suggest) some events for countries.

Already implemented - none.
In mind - like a dozen.

And good job you're doing there, can't wait to see it completed :D.

Operation CWAL huh?

Forgot it but will Cifrasia be like Narnia, with humans and animals?
I know I have asked this already but have forgot the answer.

Don't know already. Much more humans.
