Hi,
I was given a link to this page to report an issue.
I downloaded the game last night and played for 2-3 hours. I hit the save option and quit the game and went to bed.
This morning I fired it up, but the load game option was blacked out, and unavailable.
I started again, this time enabling auto save for every 10 minutes. After about half an hour
I quit the game thinking there might be a couple of save games to load. Sadly not, nothing had saved, the load
Option was again blacked out and unavailable.
No big deal, I can start again without any bother.
I just figured you needed to know about it.
As much as I love the game, it is rendered pretty useless if I can't save it.

I should probably add, I deleted the game and re installed it to no avail.

Same issue. What gives? Not just me but a friend who got the game has it happening to him as well. Followed all the same steps as you did. Can we get a response from Paradox on this issue?
 
I am sorry for that problem. We have other reports of this now too. I have just now logged a new bug report on the problem, and linked all cases I can find to it.

What's not clear is why just some users are affected and others not at all. I have to admit not knowing anything about the PS4; are there different models with different specs? Different OS versions?

If so, please post them here if you do, or indeed if you do not, have this problem. Thank you!
 
We have reported the issues re saves, screen not fitting and share play to Tantalus - I will let you know when I have an update re these things. It should hopefully be tomorrow as they are based in Australia. I am really sorry that you are not getting the gaming experience that you would like right now. I will update on here as soon as I have answers for you.

Belgium.
I have the same problem ps4 pro , game is on disk.
The game does make a save because I can upload the save to cloud
But also the same problem ,the load function remains gray.

Just wanted to say I'm having the same issue with the game not saving / no load option. Just confirmed that my ps4 firmware is up to date. My copy of the game is a pre-ordered download from the PSN.

Same problem here. Regular PS4, pre-ordered and downloaded. I can also upload to online storage so there is a file being made, but no ability to load.

I don't have this issue but wanted add that I don't have the ability for multiple saves. I started a game yesterday, spent all day playing, had a great city going. Today I wanted to start another city on a different map, played a little then went to the Save Game option, picked a new save slot. Went I went back later to Load a game, my city from yesterday is gone.

Can we only have one saved city?

Yes, Just came BACK to this thread to report this, I've again lost hours of work due to save issues.
 
Wow this is terrible... Played for probably 8 hours the other day loving this game and building a huge city.. Worked a long week was excited to get back to it tonight annd no save game. I saved several times before closing the game an load game is blacked out. Then to see many others have the same problem is very frustrating. I really hope we get some sort of reply because this is game is completely unplayable without being able to save.
 
I am sorry this is such a problem still for everyone! I hope and assume @candyalien will be back from Gamescom soon and be able to update us all on the progress in fixing this terrible issue.
 
Also having the same problem with the game (uk) spent a good five hours building city saved multiple times before coming off went on next day to find the load button blacked out :( just wondering how long will it take to fix the problem?
