Eh except it's completely stable since version 1.31.3 for me. It only has occurred since enabling the mod.
Except no, it's not, and people are still reporting those bugs.

That's well and fine for those people but as I said I did not experience on month start crashes for all of my time playing 1.31 (Granted I did not play every sub version equally) I had an entire yuan run on 1.31 with no crashes. Get the converter mod enabled and it crashes. If you're saying that the converter's current version has issues with aspects of 1.31 and I should wait for updates on both ends that's fine, just say as much.

No, that is the opposite of what I'm saying. I'm saying that people are still reporting freezes even in 1.31.4 (check out bugs forums) and that they have nothing to do with converted mods or mods in general. I'm happy you had a successful Yuan run without freezes, and hopefully these vanilla issues are solved soon.

So the advice is simply wait for the next version update.

Basically yeah. I haven't fired up EU4 since 1.31 released as going back to 1.30 to actually play the game is a chore when the work I do is against 1.31 EU4, but I sure am not playing it in this state. It's unfortunate.

The game forbids me to select nations.

It's possible antivirus blocked the converter from copying the mod fully, or that your eu4 needs a reinstallation (you can try to verify file integrity through steam). I saw your previous attempts to copy it failed, meaning something blocked it, and caused your issue.

I do not have an antivirus. Can windows defender cause this ? I am verifying my files for eu4 now will try again.

Hello,
I'm new to this thread so I hope I'm doing this correctly. I have little experience with Ck3 modding and practically no experience with modding Imperator. I've figured out how to change the Ck3 bookmarks to earlier start dates. The issue is changing the bookmark in the converted mod overrides all the changes made by the converter. I was trying to find a config in the converter files in order to change the start date (I'd like to convert around the year 100 A.D.) but i can't seem to find correct config. Alternatively, I could go through and try changing everything in the converted mod to move everything back to 100AD but I believe that will take hours. If anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be incredible. I think it'd be cool if the converter had options that would allow you to convert to different ck3 start dates as creating starting date bookmarks in ck3 is relatively simple.

Best,
Intoum

You're in the wrong forum, you should post in imp-to-ck3 release thread, not here in ck2 to eu4. I'm not sure if imptock3 supports dynamic dates yet, I know it's an open task on it's docket.

Hello. It keeps crashing on month change when I try to play with a converted game
Crash log is useless, we can't debug it. Please upload your save instead, and error.log if there's anything useful inside.

Oh sorry, I thought that the log in the crash folder was the same as the one in the log folder
Can't reproduce.

Verify your EU4 installation through steam and be sure you're running latest patch (1.31.4).

I'm having a similar problem where about october i get a crash, everytime. I've verified my install and am running the latest patch
Random crashes at some month/year/date/event are a vanilla EU4 feature, not a converter related bug.

Suggestion: have an option to replace the no penalties for heathen/heretic provinces in colonial nations ideas with missionary strength, to encourage the ai to religiously (and subsequently culturally) convert. This can be done manually, but giving the option in the converter would make megacampaigns more straightfoward by promoting slightly more historical coloniser cultural spread in the new world, especially given the new inclusion of more NA/australian/NZ tribes & iwi means colonial nations will likely have even more native culture land.
