Can anyone describe what happened to matrilineal marriages? Checking box on marriage page sometime disappears when i click on it. Is it normal?
Not sure if its bug or game mechanic.
I have the same problem, but only for certain culture or religion (not sure which is at fault). Did a quick test with greek Orthodox matrilineal marriage worked fine, did another with persian mazdan and the checkbox doesn't appear eventhough succession law is agnatic-cognatic. (But they don't start with agnatic-cognatic)
I know this would be hard but add Greenland into the game and provinces for it, as well as Norn, Greenlandic Norse, Faroese, Icelandic,Karelian, Vepsian, Votic, Izhorian and Livonian cultures.
Pope made exceptions in a LOT of cases (especially nobility). I wouldn't call it historical.matri marriage = no has been added to the religion file entries so I dont think its a bug as that takes work.
I would like to see psc and cousin marriages disabled for christians. It makes the AI a bit less trouble and it's historical.
But for example when you start with Kiev there is woman character, and even trying to marry with someone of your court, checkbox is missing. Same culture, same religion, agnatic-cognatic sucession law from start, even game itself says "consider a matrilineal marriage". Eeem... I dont get it.matri marriage = no has been added to the religion file entries so I dont think its a bug as that takes work.
Just don't have daughters!
Any fix to the matrilineal marriage bug? Cant play without it cause I love to spread my dynasty through marriages!
That one is fairly easy to fix. @mightnight gave a solution on discord yesterday.
Go to mod/CK2plus/common/laws and open succession_laws.txt
and replace every instance of "set_allows_matrilineal_marriage = yes" by "law_set_allow_matrilineal_marriage = yes"
One page 2.
The crashes were fixed, but there aren't yet unique features for Plus pagans, and there may still be other issues.has pagan reformation been fixed in one of the new updates? Great work by the way!
