on beta 2 and macos-

here's an empire title not showing it's proper name for some reason. i think its the empire of bulgar/bolghar based on the flag.

b/c of the last posts, i was just testing around to see if everything worked. i joined the bolghar khanate and it said i could form a new titular empire. i used the cheat to get prestige and money and then formed the empire and got this weird artifact.

vanilla

Harar (d_harer) has "Berberan" as its adjective even though Berbera is a different duchy in Plus.

(Also, d_harer is "Harar" but c_harer is "Harer"; not sure if that one is intentional or not. AFAIK they are just different transliterations of the same name.)

The Archegos of the Manichean Church seems to be duplicated. You have Mani, Mar Sisin, and Abu Hilal al-Dayhur as characters in a "manichean_church" file and in the "persian" file as well, leading to there being two Abu Hilal al-Dayhur characters in the 769 start date. The "persian" character file seems to be what is used to fill the actual title, for what it's worth.

Almost all of the secret cult decisions require your capital to have a secret community. Is it intentional that they don't also work if your capital openly follows your secret religion?

Sooo ... every time I get to year 1107 (3rd of February to be precise) from 1066, the game simply crashes. I've tried with just CK2+ and it still does it :(
Want to provide a save game there champ? If you're only using plus we can look. If you're using ANY other mods AT ALL all bets are off.

Maybe people shouldn't be able to request to be on the council if they've already been rejected for it? Or at least not while they still have an opinion penalty for being rejected.

Baron level tribal rulers of cities do not seem to be converting to republics. I'm trying to mess around with the decision that lets them do it, but I suspect the problem is that barons cannot take normal decisions. They can convert their tribes to cities just fine.

almost a 100% of people who "need to be gifted something" to move in or support plot never do so after giving them a bag of money. also, I can't hover over why they're not accepting my offer!

This has been reported before, and I have experienced it myself a while ago: However, this is NOT a mod issue, but seems to be a - very weird - engine hickup. The mod does not even touch this action afaik, as it's hardcoded!
It solved itself before just by restarting (and waiting), but alternatively you might want to verify your vanilla files and/or reinstall the mod.

interesting, this only happens with CK2+

Yep, it did for me as well; I didn't have the issue in vanilla.
But it did only happen to a few people, not everyone. For example, iirc I was the only one of the dev team to be affected, even though our versions were Github-syncronized.
So yeah, preetty weird, but there seems to be a hickup in the engine that CK2+ for some reason seems to activate (?) occasionally. Or something like that - I am not a Paradox dev, and can't verify this. But rest assured it should go away eventually, as it has for all affected people yet afaik.

I assume you're playing with the Beta? I think this has been changed/fixed in the current dev version. I removed the "all holdings start tribal" mechanic as it was causing too many issues and I don't have the patience to endlessly tweak it.

I was. That will help, but there should probably be something put into the holding conversion decision to swap barony level tribes to other governments. Especially if you keep the mutually exclusive castle/city building chains.

Not sure if this is vanilla or Plus but the "secretly convert to province religion" decision was available to me as a Zealous nomad, despite the fact that either of those things would be prevent using the non-secret version. Presumably not working as intended, since you can after all secretly convert and then immediately openly adopt the new faith.

I reported "strange empire bug" before.(#1018)
I couldn't understand why this kind of bug occurs then, but now i understand.
In my latest play, king of castile and leon became emperor of spain, rurikid prince created russian empire.
but fatimid caliph became emperor of persia, and raja of karnata created empire of italy.
so, i selected 1194 bookmark, created kingdom of ireland.
now, richard, king of england and ireland, can create three empires.
empire of persia and italy is not titular title, so AI rulers can create these empires.
is it only in my ck2 plus? if so, please tell me how to fix it.

Not sure if vanilla or Plus. In my campaign the Mongols declared their initial invasion against a revolt. The revolt ended, invalidating their war, at which point they decided the natural thing to do was travel halfway across the world and invade Greece.

I am running a small submod which changes the conditions for the "Absorb Tribe" decision and does nothing else.

I was lucky enough to get an autosave just before the revolt ended, which is attached. The revolt will end within a few days of loading it, at which point the Mongols will target...well, it was Greece the first time, but when I just reloaded this save to check again it was Hungary. Either way, somewhere far from Mongolia.
