CK2 Plus doesnt work it causes CK2 to stop responding and is forever stuck on the screen that shows the paradox logo.
Win 10
Only mod is CK2+
All DLC
Version 2.8.3.3
It launches fine on its own and other mods work fine as well.

Update I put it in steam directory the installer put it in user/documents it now launches just fine. However I have new issue. If I play anything lower then a King I cant have a council is that a bug or a mod feature.

You're clearly doing something wrong. Either you have other mod files or CK2 itself isn't OK.
Installer is a simple way of installation that removes old CK2Plus. It won't remove anything else, so if there's lingering stuff in your game directory it won't fix that.

Occasionally, the Patriarch of Constantinople (of Chalcedonianism) will be without a holder for a few months, (instead will be Bishop of Constantinople) and during that period the Byzantine Emperor can convert to a heresy (in my case Monothelite) and the conditions are met for the Latin patriarch supreme to be appointed, preventing the schism from ever happening in a really stupid way.

Hey all,

Game started crashing for me. I uninstalled CK2 and all mods. Re-installed CK2 and just the only mod I've installed is CK2+. Game crashes on the loading screen for a new game. This is the exception log:

Not really a bug, but I noticed a small thing in the localization: In the titles for rulers for Moorish (Maghreb) and Amazigh rulers, the 'Sultana' title is marked as king_maghrebi_female, instead of king_female_maghrebi, so wives/rulers are named 'Queen' instead of 'Sultana' in those culture groups.

Hello,

Currently, I am trying to assign a guardian to my grandson, who will (presumably) eventually become the player character. However, regardless of who I have selected and shown in the picture box, the game seems to continuously believe that I am offering him to Raja Vesugi III (who, incidently, won't accept my offer). You can see this in the image below.

I am playing this mod on patch 2.8, with all DLC sans Conclace and Horse Lords. Could anyone offer me some advice please? Any additional info required?

It would appear that the issue is that your grandson is in the court of Vesugi III, and so he is ultimately responsible for the decision of who educates the child, not you. I don't think that there's much of a way around this one.

Hello,
Tried to play this mod. Installed using the .exe. No other mods. CTD when start a new game. CK2 on Steam - latest updates.
Do I have to roll back to a previous version to play the mod?
Thanks.,

UPDATE: I searched the forums and found that I have to downgrade the CK2 to earlier patch.

I have a Checksome of LFIH, and I have re-downloaded the newest installer 3 times, and reinstalled it like that. Im on a new PC, so my CK2 is absolutely blank, i am yet to even play a normal game file. I am using no other mods, while they are installed, none are enabled at the same time as CK2+. It works fine all the way up to the rules screne, the second i hit "Start Game" It loads, the bar gets about half way in the first stage, then crashes.
(The crash is in every time period in every part of the world)

Make sure you are not on version 3.0.1, but on the latest available version of 2.8.

Has anyone had the bug where your councillors gets fired without you firing them personally? One of them gets fired randomly over many years, They just disappear from their council slot, with a negative opinion modifier of fired and you can put them back until many years later. Thanks. Version 2.8x

They quit. It's a vanilla bug fixed in 3.0. Maybe...

Also, a mixture of suggestion/bug, This might be a vanilla thing but have not played vanilla in a while. The become councillor ambition, never offers me the position I am ambitioning for. Different playthroughs as a vassal, I always select become steward, (usually had option of marshal or steward), They always only offer me marshal or advisor. The intrigue tab only shows request council position, instead of a specific position. Thanks for the help and the already great mod.

If we ask you for a save, please upload it in this thread.

We welcome reports of any issues you encounter in the mod—in fact, it’s absolutely essential that we get feedback from multiple sources. In order for that feedback to be useful, however, please consider the following before reporting:

Do you have the correct checksum?
The checksum is a four-letter code which is procedurally generated by the game, representing the exact size of all your game files. If your checksum and my checksum are the same, then we have exactly the same files. Where this becomes useful is as a shorthand to determine whether there are any differences...if we say "the checksum with the mod is ABCD" and your checksum happens to be ABTY, then you know there's something wrong: you have extra files somewhere, made some changes, or didn't download/install correctly.

To find the current checksum for the mod, check the download thread -- it will be listed by "Current Checksum" at the bottom of the first post.

To find out what your checksum is:

The vanilla checksum is located in the launcher:

22yhdg.jpg

So the vanilla checksum with the 2.4.3 patch should be WIUP.

Then, after starting the game with the mod installed, you'll see a mod checksum in the lower left of the title page:

zswhg3.jpg

Thus the mod checksum is CQCJ.

When reporting issues, it's always best to say "I have checksum CQCJ" or just "CQCJ", as a way of letting us know you have the exact files we'd expect for the mod. If you don't, and know why (let's say you made some changes of your own, or mixed in another mod), you absolutely need to say so.

Have you altered anything?
If you’ve altered your files in any way, let us know. It will give you a different checksum (as above), and we’ll need to know that. Too often someone will report a problem, and only after lengthy discussion do they mention “oh, and I also changed X and Y, does that matter?” It matters, even if you think it doesn’t. Note that this includes the use of any sub-mods, even ones which claim to be compatible to the main CK2+ mod.

Are you updated to the current patch?
CK2Plus will always need the patch listed under the download link. If there is a Beta patch, we may require you update to it. As new patches come out, however, they require time before CK2Plus is compatible—make sure to check first!

Are you using an older version of the mod?
Please mention this. Also mention if you started your current game on an older version of the mod -- that can be important, as newer mod versions are not always save compatible.

Note that there’s no need to put up a link to a save unless we ask for it, but it’s useful to have one available (if you can). This is especially true if it’s a repeatable bug (ie. a bug that occurs after every reload, either on the same date or in the same time period, and cannot be bypassed), as that means it’s something we can replicate and thus investigate.

The game crashes the moment I hit "start game." I can get to the main menu and select my character, but after that it just dies.
Current game version is 3.0.1.1 (ONDO)
Current mod version is 4.07.8
Current checksum is wrong, it is 3.01.1 (HTRM)
I have no other mods for CK2, I've checked and deleted them all, and still the checksum is wrong, so I don't know what's going on.
I used the installer to download the mod
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?
