Quick question before I post more about this as I don't think its a bug but a UI limitation.

Investiture for Hellenic and Reformed Celtic pagans, there is no way of setting the successor on the temples. I am pretty sure this is because the Religion GUIs are hardcoded to religion and that's a feature of the Christian version of the GUI. Am I right in this or should there be some way of me setting the successors for the above two religions?

(Not really a bug, but definitely not intended...?)

So I was wondering why on earth does Alp Arslan in 1066 Start never seem to win his first war. I played from the Byzantine Side and noted that Alp Arslan only sent around 15k soldiers at me even though he has supposedly 25k-30k. So I decided to start again as Alp Arslan and it became clear why:

This is the start for Alp Arslan as at 15 September 1066. Observe mode, occasionally checking in as Alp Arslan:

Right away you can see that Alp Arslan has about 9,000 levies raised from his vassals already, while he has a total of 15k unraised levies he can raise, but he has to first dismiss this current batch of levies in order to do so. This is good and all, as long as the AI is smart enough to re-raise levies.

Unfortunately, it is not.

The AI refuses to dismiss the 9k stack, raises what little liege levy he can and decides to attack Byzzies with... 14k men?

Towards the end of the war and immediately after the war:

Alp Arslan lost again because he has 20k unraised soliders he refuses to use, and he refuses to use them because he doesn't know how to dismiss the first stack of soldiers.

I understand the Seljuk pre-raised levies are from vanilla, but in vanilla Alp Arslan's entire levy is already raised on game start, no levies left.

So the solution is to either raise Alp Arslan's entire levy with none left at game start, or to get rid of the pre-raised levies altogether. It serves no purpose anyway. With the AI Seljuks not handicapped, this famous 1066 battle might finally be interesting again!

My games with Ck2+ crash constantly and almost consistently between 2 to 4 years into a game.

No other mods, no adjustments, doesn't matter the bookmark.

Which is a pity. I can remember really liking this mod.

I'll repeat.
I'm getting 0 crashes outside the "crashes after 150 years on saving if you don't relead in between", and the loose baroy crash which is entirely vanilla CTD.
700 year long games have been played on Plus 4.06.

If you're getting a crash it is not the problem of the mod.

Removed pre-raised levies.

Can't say for anyone else, but I'm running with India.

Checksum is valid, no other mods, etc.

I should make clear that while it is only with CK+ that I get crashes, you saying that you've experienced none and others have said the same leads me to believe that it may be something with my software/hardware.

I'm still running windows 8.1, steam copy of CK2. Is it common for the game to run slower/days run "jerky" with CK2 active? I know it adds a lot of extra decisions for the game to process and that may be what is creating a crash conflict for me.

alright, fixed for next version + limited e_crimea to actually require crimea and added an empire for goths that doesn't require control of any particular location.

Actually, it used to be real slow on my old laptop. But that thing was crap, it barely had a dual-core and at a ridiculous speed, though it was a bit more than CK2 original requirements (which are a joke nowadays ^^). It actually crashed a few times on that hardware with CK2+ active, so upgrading your rig definitely is worth a try if it is really old.
I never had any performance-related crash on my PC or laptop though, so on a quadcore (or any modern hardware really) you should be fine in that department.
