I don’t think it’s wad.The women had brilliant strategist and formidable fighter traits.

In this case a woman required a "Martial Lady" trait, or something in such fashion.
In any case Beta3 will be this week, and you'll be able to appoint female commanders more easily.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed before, but if you are approached by a faction to reduce CA prior to being coronated and are then coronated after acquiescing, crown authority will reset to its previous level from the last ruler.

For example, my previous ruler had set CA to Absolute. He died pretty young and my heir took the throne but could not be crowned as I had insufficient funds. This locked CA to Low. My court faction approached me to lower CA, and I acquiesced as my army retinue had just been dwindled in a civil war and I didn't have the resources to fight them. CA was reduced from Low to Minimum, but upon becoming coronated it reset to Absolute Crown Authority rendering the faction's previous ultimatum worthless.

I assume byzantine?

Well, Egyptians and Hellenic pagans were moved into their own religious group, so until Plus adds new sympathy traits for them, you can't invoke sympathy as a member as one of these religious groups. That is also probably why you are having trouble converting adults, as they need a sympathy trait if they are not in the same religious group.

so sympathy traits for hellenic, roman and egyptian in order to be able to secretly convert adult courtiers?

I am not sure if it‘s a problem with vanilla or this mod,but just then I was playing as one of the Zhangs from the 869 start with beta3.When I tried to open up the Tang Dynasty, the Tang expeditionary force landed in Vexin and then began a slow march to the Tarim Basin.

In the 867 start, playing as Jorvik (Halfdan) in the Sons of Lodbrok Invasion, you're not at war with Northumberland (even though Aella is the leader on the English side of that war). Which means that no peace options are available... kind of an endless war! Unless I'm missing some event that occurs? But conquered half of England (although you can't take Northumberland's provinces because you're not at war) and my warscore was in the single digits because of the "Aella controls England" warscore modifier.

FYI once I used the console to switch to Aella and declared a Holy War on Halfdan, and then switched back to Halfdan, the peace options became available even though it was a different war.

Playing on 4.07 Beta 3. CK2+ and Bigger Interface are the only mods running.

I hate to be a bother about this, but Abyssinia in 769 is still having a vassal breaking off because it's a tribute to the Abbasids. This vassal (ID 31716) also owns the lands directly south of Egypt (which is why he's a tribute in the first place) To be honest, I'm not sure that this character is supposed to own land in both places.

Not sure this is technically a bug, but: I'm able to voluntary tributize the western protectorate, they just quite casually agreed. While I admit I had 80k troops to their 20k, don't think china would appreciate the gesture.

The Roman religion doesn't have a Secret Society.

Not a bug.

vanilla bug. or more accurately, mod weirdness caused by vanilla changes. scripted wars are a bitch.

Running MacOS and neither the beta2 nor the new beta3 will work for 2.8. Game won't even launch.

The older mod for version 2.7.2 works just fine for me.

Am I the only mac user here experiencing these problems?

No, it's broken on Mac for some reason, and I haven't been able to figure it out yet.
Worst of all, the dump isn't generated and the whole thing goes to hell.
I might get some mac access next week, we'll see.

EDIT: some users have reported it works if you disable RoI DLC. Try that for now.

Vanilla bug, but the demon_pagan events (the pagan ones, not the spawn of satan ones) don't fire for children conceived from demonic impregnation, as the events need a fire and those children don't get one. I would recommend doing what you already did for the changeling events, and have them fire on the host instead.

I haven't had a chance to try the new beta yet, but I remember that in the last two betas the Emperor of China title didn't count as a title at all for the purpose of dynasty prestige. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice if that got fixed (if it hasn't already)
