The theocracy titles' succession laws bug is still present, at least for Roman religion. In v.4.07.6, when I create a new temple and create a new vassal for the said temple as a Roman ruler, the default succession law is always gavelkind. But, when I do the same thing for already-established temples/churches, the succession law would be the same as the previous holder of that temple (i.e. if I take a Catholic bishopric and create a new vassal as a Roman ruler, the succession law would be investiture. Likewise, if I take an Orthodox or Muslim church, the succession law would be open elective or open, respectively). I've also done this in the previous version, v.4.07.5, and the results were the same, so I'm guessing the new version only fixed the succession law bug for other religions' but not for the Roman religion.
