is there support for oriental empires??
PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS PLS let me know
Try it and see what happens. If Oriental Empires changes the map, then it likely won't work "out of the box", but otherwise, there's a decent chance.

Well, we got as far as functional tributaries.

What's left is the actual clan naming. Buryatia should be Mongols, collectively with all the tributaries, but that's very very tricky.

It’s a total conversation that add asia
There are a dozen asia expansion mods out there. We support some. Oriental Empires are not one of those.

Once vanilla ck3 supports asia things will be easier.

Onwards with 1.16 patching efforts, the issue of federations. We now have a new option in the config:

If defaulted, which I recommend, the federations get merged into single tags, cleaning up the mess somewhat:

As opposed to:

As you all know, natives, which support federations innately, are not at all compatible with tribes, which hordes are by definition, so we're not even going there.

not to be rude, and if i am, sorry. but, any idea on when we are getting 1.16?
Every time someone asks, it delays the update by a week. But seriously, it's in the works and will be ready when it's ready.

is that latin or italian lol

Update on 1.16 patching efforts.

After dealing with confederations, tribal identities, steppe hordes as a concept an whatnot, we've decided that merging various clan tribes into a single entity is better. After all, that's where "The Tribes" estate comes in.

However, excrement hits the oscillator when the chief honcho of a tribe doesn't survive the transition, because he held a single county in a region where 5 counties map to a single EU4 province. However there's nothing we can do about that, unfortunately, so when that happens the clans break free.

We're almost there, a few more issues remain.

And finally let's address the Mongolian Question.

In a test save we have this:

1746650284135.png

Mongols are dejure and defacto Buryatia. In any reasonable sense, we'd map this to BRT, which is a legitimate EU4 tag. However Buryatia isn't The Mongols, now, is it.

So, if The Mongols actually border the map at that point (whether or not they hold e_mongolia, or whatever title they thought up along the way as primary), they will be properly mapped to KHA and integrated into off-scope map.

They just need to be The Mongols (or equivalent in other languages) and border that border up there in the north-east corner. One province is sufficient.

That'd result in this:

Seamless integration. No issues.

Compatible with CK3 [1.16] and EU4 [1.37]

CK3ToEU4, 0.16Pagan

For The Horde Release

After a very long time where most of the work was focused on maintaining compatibility with an ever-growing list of supported CK3 major overhaul mods, with the 1.16 release we finally had an opportunity to implement hordes properly, and do some constructive coding. Now we export proper hosts, merge Mongols with off-scope Mongolia when possible, and merge tribal confederations into united horde hosts, which finally might present some danger to Ming's mandate.

Looking forward to Asian expansion, that will solve so many issues.

Hotfixes

  • Thankfully, none.

Coldfixes

  • Fixed issues with localizations nested tooltips not being correctly sterilized before transfer to EU4.
  • Fixed issue where countries without any applicable _ADJ locs would leave them empty. Empty isn't an option.
  • Fixed an issue where the save claims it's using 2000 mods but in reality it's using 10, repeated 200 times or however many times as the save has been reloaded and resaved. Why, PDX...

Expansions

  • Support for 1.16 CK3
  • A host of RICE updates, as always. Really. A ton.
  • Various TFE compatches.
  • MB+ compatches as well.
  • Rajas of Asia expansions.
  • Cultures Expanded Expansions.
  • Bronze Age Reborn support for incoming ImpToCK3 saves.

Shuffles

  • Mapping fixes, expansions and corrections to tags, cultures, traditions etc.

My friends and I started a new mega campaign and I wanted to test the new converter update after the first save, so I installed the update and put the save through with our normal settings. I noticed the traditions devoted horsemanship and wolves of the deep steppe are missing configurations in tradition_ideas.txt. The converter also only reaches 67% and creates an error message after coalescing hordes. I have attached our CK3 save file and the log.txt when trying to convert it. We understand you guys are likely very busy with things so we are not in any rush.

Thank you for the report. This has now been fixed, please update the converter and retry.

I've been trying to use the converter for a while and readjusting everything I knew to do but I keep getting an "invalid stoi argument" (ignore the save game being in japanese as I've run that file without mods and tried it with completely unmodded saves and get the same result)

I would do a fresh reinstall of the converter.
