Hi, do I need to get some sort of approval to edit the wiki? I don't seem to be able to do so.

You should be able to edit almost anything on the wiki. Exceptions include the wiki frontpage and some high-use templates.

Make sure you're logged in, though even when not logged in you should be able to edit.

I was trying to edit the Breeding page with the info you provided on reddit about inbreeding, but clicking Save Page just refreshed the edit page without doing anything. I got someone else to make the change instead.

If you were not logged in, that may have been due to not filling out the CAPTCHA.

Ah, looking through the logs, what happens is that the edit got prevented due to the link in it. It's an anti-spam measure, but it occasionally causes false positives.
You should've gotten a piece of text somewhere after saving informing you of that though.

Anyway, you're now in a user group that'll prevent that from happening again.
