Glad you're satisfied with the Brazil fixes. I've gotten them into Version 0.15 but not the postwar elections. For one thing, it appears as though Vargas was actually still in charge for a few weeks, so I'd have to look at the inc file.
Would you like to help out with other South American states?
As for pictures, I'm missing most of the land doctrines pictures. Also if you try out the mod and use it post-war, you can easily see which technologies need pictures, because you'll get a screen asking for help with red letters. Try to be careful about copyrights.
 
question: is the cold war scenario urs (which means i can also address event-related ideas to u), or do u just work on the tech tree part?? Because all this experimentation with the korean war events playing as com chi, sov or usa made me think about how the war should trigger to both give players the option to write their own version of history and let things play out as historically as possible;
i was thinking that the event chain should be:
1. PRK gets event to invade;
2. USA gets event to act with the decisions: act (war on PRK; ai chance 85-90%), no military actions but send supplies to south korea (ai chance 14-9%), or do nothing (ai chance 1%)
3. the US decision tigers a sov decision (2 event conditioned by the existence of nat chi-KMT): if KMT exists sov event gives supplies to PRK and a jet fighter division (the fighters might be conditioned by the sov's tech level); if KMT doesn't exist sov can choose: veto in the un security council (allies are not at war with PRK; ai chance 90%), "Kim Il Sung is on his own" (no immediate effect; ai chance 1%) and help Kim Il Sung in secret (gives supplies to PRK and a jet fighter division; ai 9%)
4. the PRC (if formed - meaning that if the event to create PRC triggered should be a trigger for this event) should get a decision to act or not and that should (if possible) put it at war with korea but not the allies. Because every time china entered the war in my games the us nuked the s#@t out of them;
This event chain is motivated by the fact that historically the USSR did not participate in the UN security council meeting in which the decision to attack North Korea was taken because it was boycotting it due to the fact that the Chinese nationalists had a permanent seat (even though they only ruled taiwan) and the communists didn't. Also no attacks were made by the allies on mainland china, or by china on hong kong or indochina (some times in the game france doesn't liberate vietnam before the korean war)
Anyway, if the event-related issues should not be addressed here pls tell me who to speak to, and sorry for the long message. :p

The Cold War tech tree is in fact evolving into a Cold War Mod. Your points are quite valid, and I think the Korean War needs to be redone, since the AI likes to nuke. Actually the USAF did bomb China during the war, though not with nukes. Perhaps if they do the USSR should enter and you get WW3. IMO the issue of the Chinese seat on the security council was not the real problem. The real issue is the USSR did not want to go on record in the Security Council so it came up with an excuse. If they vetoed the Security Council proposal they risked war with the US. If they abstain they are accused of "not being good comradely communists". So to save face they walked out, and helped the PRK in secret with planes and fighter pilots, just like they did in Operation Zet.

The Korean War in my mod does not happen unless Communist China controls the border. Without that the North Koreans would have faced certain defeat. I'll consider a 1% chance of the US doing nothing and breaking the SK alliance. CIA assessment was that South Korea was not strategically important but it was necessary to send a signal of US willingness to stand up to attacks on its allies.
Likely I'll have to script the Korean War as a proxy war like the Spanish Civil War.

I don't feel very confident to improve Vanilla's stock settings as they did an extensive research on those things.
Ok. Would you be willing to limit yourself to just researching the later ministers? Paradox did not put in ministers beyond 53 for many countries. Can you give the data on the 55, 60 and 64 Brazil ministers like you did for 45 and 50?

right when Nationalist China accept some type of Sino alliance throug event after they have been deafeated by communist china , A error pops up saying cant open ai\chc_consalidated.ai.

Have tracked this down. It relates to CCIP event 2478 which proclaims the PRC.
AI files are missing, and will be added with 0.16

For a quick fix so you don't have to wait for 0.16
1) Download Armageddon CCIP (latest version)
2) Do not install it but
3) add the ai files provided with the latest Armageddon CCIP to your Doomsday installation.

I figured things out as you were posting.
It is solely a bug relating to a missing ai file and nothing else.
See fix in edited post just prior to your latest.
Your post is also good news, because it means that in AI vs AI Communist China is winning the war pretty much on schedule.
Do you remember whether Communist China accepted the cease fire in 1946?

Israel doesn't have the Egyptian territories east of the Suez Canal.

England hasn't gave up India or Pakistan.

There are Nationalist Chinese territories still in Communist China.

There are no Korean War events so far.

the tibet event fired well, tibet gave up nicely ;), but, when the KMT flees to taiwan, the following provs aren't ceded to the communist: 1226, 1222, 1239 and 1249; and one more thing: when england has "surrender the mandate in palestine" (or something like that) the us gets an event in wich they decided to split palestine... and nothing happened.

Yes 5 provinces were left out of the Nationalists Flee the Mainland event

Israel is not supposed to have the Egyptian territories east of the Suez canal. They belong to Egypt and were only conquered by the Israelis in the 1956 and 1967 wars.

If India hasn't given up India or Pakistan that is really strange. There is an event with a random chance of firing, but I guess it didn't fire. In the next release there will be a backup event one month after the real date.

There are Korean War events but they haven't fired. In the next release there will be a backup event to ensure the Korean war starts (with the right prerequisites--it won't start unless Communist China wins the Chinese Civil War)

Hitman_RO you are right--5 provinces are not ceded.
When the UK surrenders the mandate in Palestine, the refer the matter to the UN. In this game it is a USA choice. Depending on what choice they make, either Israel or Palestine gets independence in May 1948. Usually they choose the historic partition plan. Since the Arabs rejected the plan, only Israel is created.

playing 1936 campaign,with the allied-soviet victory over nazi germany in ww2, do events created for 1945-cold war scenario fire?(establishment of two german states, austrian independence....)..in other words, playing as 1936 campaign, can I pass to cold war era(with specific events you created) after the world war two?..or did you create tech tree for both 1945-cold war and 1936 scenario and events of cold war for just 1945-cold war scenario?

anyway, it looks like a good mod..thank you..

I have some custom surrender events if you use my events package, but some of the cold war events fire only if you load the 1945 scenario. You'll get a semi-real cold war based mostly on Paradox events if you play out of the 36 scenario, but in my surrender events many things are created automatically and immediately, like in my Japan surrender event you get the two Koreas and two Germanys right away, whereas in fact theyt weren't created until 1948. If you want the real deal, with events occurring more or less on schedule, play out of the 45 scenario.
I'm likely to change Austria by the way so that it is neutral but gives military access to all sides until 1955.
 
They do not, I know this because I tweak the mod my self, and it looks like the events are fired from a different event folder for the 1945 scenario. Maybe you can overwrite the 1936 event folder files with the one from the events folder used by he 1945 scenario. I just don't know if any problem will happen though.
