Angevin scenario BiB-I've postulated that the Ile loses some of its' trading importance. I've also got rid of the Kurland CoT, The Holland adjustment partially came because I started modding from a free/Austrian Netherlands option, and in the first four hands-off games I ran the CoT appeared every time before 1525!

Since I was modding the Byzantine option at the same time, the Knights are now in Lebanon-with an extremely powerful CoT!:)

Just not make the Netherlands independent from the start ;)

THough I dunno really why I am complaining :D I once played with no COTs in Holland, France or Anglia (popped up later thoguh evidently) and that is one huge COT :D

The Dutch are supposed to be independent from the start, the way i've set it up!

Forgot to mention I gave the English Anglia-the plan was that it would pick up some of the trade of western France. Strangely enough, this was a one hundred percent failure of a plan!

Flanders......Grrrr!;)

I considered including Burgundy, but I decided I wanted an independent rather than vassalised France in the scenario (history changes at two points-1071 and 1199) so Bourgogne is in French hands, with the Netherlands and Franche-Comte Austrian (Habsburg.) So, for the human player (ha, ha) France, fresh off its' first partial success in centuries, is feeling muscular and vengeful.

Oh, Languedoc's independent as well, lost during a fracas with Henry V (who in this timeline dies in about 1429, while intervening in the HRE.)

Flanders would never have been Austrian if it hasn't been Burgundian. U should include an independent Flanders if u don't go Burgundy.

All I postulated was that Phillip the Bold was killed by the Swiss, as in our world. Burgundy's existed, but has fallen-sorry BiB!:)

Anyhoe, can I download this anywhere?

Unlikely, BiB-first, I'm still working on it. Secondly, all I've really done is mess around with the IGC's scenario document-no new leaders, events etc. (yet) or anything. I'd be ashamed to try and put it up for download!:)

Still, if you like Byzantium, you'd like this mod!:) By the way, i'm a bit lazy to look it up-when did muscovy annex Novgorod?

Still, I'm working (mentally) on a time line-maybe I'll post that!:)

Euhm, I'm not really a Byzantium fan :D Not my cup of tea.

I was just quite intrigued by the fact of the what if that is still close to the time period in the area I am very interested in (unlike Muscovy-Novgorod, so I don't really know ;) )

Burgundy I'd like to see added though ;) A weak France and a strong England. Should be fun IMO.

Could easily make it myself I guess if I'm not overly bothered by leaders. But it's more fun if someone else did. Maybe I could get it mailed to me and playtest it ;)

We'll see, we'll see.

As it was done for me, France isn't a playable nation at the moment-I was going to kill them of course!:D

Playable nations as set up by the IGC tool were England, Byzantium, Spain, Portugal, Prussia, Austria, Venice and Russia-I guess I need to alter a couple as I think about it!

Actually, guess I could just send you the EUG and inc. as is-the inc. lists the active IGC options (I think you need the same settings for it to work, didn't I read that somewhere?)

Do u need the Byzantium one installed ?

What year u starting in ?

BiB, I'm not that good or keen-1492 of course!

Just the IGC2.3, with the Byantium option.

Now lets see if I can e-mail you.:)

It's on its' way.

Heck, maybe I'll get round to doing some more extensive modifications in the next couple of days-like activating Munster or something with New Spain's tag-a new nation just felt like a little much effort for what was really just a passing interest of mine!:) ;)

Flanders :D

Anyhoe, recieved it and it works fine. Had a quick glance around, have a few questins but there's one I really wanted to ask now.

What's the rationale behind giving England CB shields on the Aztecs ? :D

Religious conversion events-I'm starting to hate seeing those huge pagan provinces in areas that became rapidly Christian-even if it was by the sword! I was planning on playing as England, you may recall, I'd do the same for whichever nation the human played.

I was planning to give the Spanish shields on the Inca and the Aztec as well-haven't got round to it yet.

I've been doing some major modifications today-it was being quite bloody minded about it though!:D Burgundy's there as requested-although it's a bit different to the IGC option! As is Flandres, Luxembourg and Brabant-although they've all got the wrong flags/shields/leaders/monarchs at the moment. I believe that you've already done all the work needed for Flandres though?:D

As for start date-1492 as I said-the timeline I was half-working on would explain many things-Berri for example coming firmly under English control in the reign of Edward III (Richard I dies childless, so other than John the succession of the Plantagenets is pretty much unchanged, so we still have a weak Richard II to lose the throne to Henry IV-and the French resurgence I postulated, and which is more apparent in the new modifications, was partly made possible by the Wars of the Roses, although this was a much more complicated factional struggle based on Norman and Aquitainian factions behind the English Yorkist/Lancastrian contenders.
