QWERTY button - used not only for this specific map modes but for all favotites - you can change them if you want.
For example I change imperial mode for cultural.

F1 to open the monarch window.

I find it weird that F2, F3 etc don't do anything. They should open the monarch window on the appropriate tab instead of having to press F1 and then using 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 to switch tabs.

I would like to see that as well. In general, I would love to be able to set hotkeys. In any game I play a lot, I want to have lots of hotkeys to minimize clicking.

Not a hotkey, but useful nonetheless. You can click the small unit icons in the unit view to separate out all units of that type. For example selecting all transports ships or light ships from a merged fleet.

This is excellent, thanks, didn't know that.

Can I just suggest there be a 'select all visible land units' and 'select all visible sea units' button? It can get cumbersome to manually select, for instance, all the fleets dotting Greece and Anatolia, since if your selection box includes a land unit, it defaults to them.

First select one naval unit, then SHIFT-select all the other naval units. If you have one naval unit selected already it will not default to selecting land units.

I manually selected ships one by one in all PI games, lol.

This helps, I thought it was alt-group select (was that CK2?). This will make life much easier.

Home key to go to your capitol. But, does this not work for anyone else? Won't take me home when I hit it. I wondered if it was my fancy configurable keyboard or something. Hmm, maybe I have a spare mouse button I can assign as "Home". But am I the only one having trouble with it?

- backspace --> to go your capital
- right click on mini-shield of the warscore --> open the Peace Interface
- right click on province --> open Diplomatic Interface

OH this is a good one! I've really been wanting to be able to do this.

EDIT: Sticky/FAQ this!

Click on another nation's army - open DIP interface.

Numbers 1-0 (ie top row of keyboard) open the ten interfaces under your Shield - but you have to have clicked on the shield first (and there's no shortcut for it, sadly).

Just bumping this to suggest again that this info get stickied or displayed somewhere prominent, since for reasons that are beyond me they are nowhere to be found in the manual or in the game's options . . .
