Shift right clicking lets you make a certain route across the map!

If you want to select all your ships in a given area, first click on one of your ships, then hold shift in while you drag a box around the area of ships you want to select - No land units will be selected doing this.

Right click on a nation to go to diplomacy view rather than province view. That one saves a click every time you want to do diplomacy, more or less.

Reactions:
Does anyone know what hotkey or where people click where it opens up a list of all nations they have casus belli against? I see people do it in youtube videos and I have no idea how to pull it up.

edit: NM I found it, it's on the ledger under page 41.

Any hotkey for adding provinces to HRE it's the worst thing to spam when you become emperor, or a button to move to your next province which wouldn't save clicking time but would save you moving your mouse.

Now if there were also left handed defaults for us 10% lefties...

It seems the most usefull ones (for me!) aren't here:

+ ESC for closing interfaces

+ Enter instead of clicking "Ok" in the messages windows (but I didn't checked if the last patches inserted also the Enter in the numeric pad)

Sorry if I missed them.

And this F1 should be really usefull now for me, even if I also think there should be directly F1-F10 for the 10 country views.

In case it's been missed, I wanted to add the q, w, e, r, and t map mode buttons don't just select the default 5 primary map modes. If you swap these for other modes the hotkeys select them too. I swapped out my HRE and Religious map modes for colonization and the opinion map mode (which I love and can't believe is missing in so many other Paradox games!). Conveniently, I've got them 't' for trade and 'r' for opinion (I think relations, makes it easy to remember )

I'm also a little confused by not using F2, F3, F4 etc to open tabs in the interface. That would make it a little more like Victoria 2 and HOI 3. I like that they at least put in shortcuts for the tabs, but since they conflict with the hotkeys for selecting armies and navies I haven't gotten very used to them.

Can I just suggest there be a 'select all visible land units' and 'select all visible sea units' button? It can get cumbersome to manually select, for instance, all the fleets dotting Greece and Anatolia, since if your selection box includes a land unit, it defaults to them.

If you click on a ship, then shift-click and drag a box around your whole area you will add the ships within that box to your selection. Same goes with armies. Not quite what you'd hoped for, but it really can save you time!

An addendum:
You can use CTRL+1 to CTRL+0 to assign one or more units to a hotkey.
Press 1 to 0 to select these armies at any time.

... except that doesn't work in 1.3.1 due to a current bug ...
