My game is crashing every time I load.
It just goes back to windows without any error message.
the dates are 30 of october, november and december of 1795 in my AGCEEP game and I dont know in which dates It happened to me in the vainilla version with the fanatasy playing catalunya and in the GC playin castille.
its very anoying as I have to restart all my games again...
version 1.08 latest beta.

Ive reported this on the AGCEEP forum, but there is no solution with the suggestions there so I hope you can help me.

The suggestion I got there are:

1 Play with another country until the dates pass. I tried and didnt function, althou recently i started playing with afganistan and reach to 1796, the I loaded with purssia (as I was playing with prussia) and the game crashed.

2 Try to look if there is any big event happening, there isn´t any.

3 Didn´t understand one suggestion and there was no answear to my ignorance, so you may look for your selfs

AFAICS you've sent off your save game to someone there and are waiting for them to respond. I'm not sure what suggestion in that thread you are referring to, but you'd be better asking there - assuming you have 1.08 plus the latest beta update applied, there's nothing more we can do for you here.
 
I know Ive been told to wait, but there is no response from the guy to whom I sent the save file. But Its ok, because I could live without ending that game, but now Its not a game, Ive been playing with Italy (AGCEEP) and in 30 of october 1765 the game crashed and went back to windows just like the last game with prussia!!!

It means that every game I play I wont be able to finish It, so I guess its time to send this game to the garbage unless someone explains me what to do...

OK it's about a 99.9% chance that it's a mod problem, :)

As the others say here, the problem is almost certainly a bug in the unofficial mod you are running, not in EU2 itself. If that makes you want to throw the game away, well, it's your game I guess.

You could PM him.
 
No no, I also had the same problem with a fantasy game playing as catalunya and castille in the GC in an "original" version!! I have the catalunya save file If you want it too It crashes on 28 of feb, 30 of aug... and so on.

Whats PM?? I might be interested

Heh. Well it's just that since no-one else have mentioned this bug, it seems unlikely that it's caused by EUII...

And mods are, in general, known to be buggy...

Ive posted this bug in the AGCEEP forum and someone there told me that he saw a guy that had the same problem, although he never mentioned If that mate was playin AGCEEP or normal
 
Have you run the savegame checker on it? It's a program I found in the uploads forum... can't remember who wrote it, but it's a masterpiece. It checks for ID conflicts with citys and such.

I had huge problems with city IDs in my mod, fucking up some scenarios... but of course, I didn't find the above mentioned file untill *after* I had a friend program me something similar. Doh. :D

Anyway, I got off the track here... my conclusion is: try that program, if you haven't already. :)

I havent tried but I would really like to do so, although I didnt understand where to get It
 
Ok, for the Catalunya save game, the problem is that Manchu are trying to revolt in a trading post (Baicheng, province 644). You need to get into the save file and find all instances of 644, then give them back to China from Rebels. Ask if you don't know how to do this.

AndrewT, this can also be logged as a bug if it isn't already: rebels attempt to revolt from Trading Post, and if the Trading Post is selected as the capital (either because there is no other option, or because the TP is specified as capital in revolt.txt) the game crashes.

Now, if I'd be paying more attention the last few months! :D

(and to be strictly accurate, mods and others with access to the EU2 beta forum... not that one sees many around there nowadays)
 
:D thanks!! :D but as you said I really dont know how to do It so I could use your help again.

BTW this is great because is very clear now, every time a game crashes like mine did, it must be because of this problem as rebels never decalre a new country in the same date all the time... and there is also the fact that It always crashes de 30ths... so I suspect that rebels always claim freedom at the end of each month...

So If you could only tell me how to find the rebell province then i can fix my AGCEEP games too...

I suspect the mod just sets up the situation where the bug may be triggered more often.
