When i open up EUII I get the two movies, the it goes to the Loading screen, the CTD. This only has happened in the new patch, no betas.

Rename the AVI folder to AVI_OLD, reboot your PC, and try it again please.

Nope, still doesn't work, I tried installing 1.5, but it still crashes at the loading Graphics screen.
I have tried patches 5 6 and 7, none of these work. I can play the game un patched, but as soon as i add a patch, it won't get past the loading graphics screen. If you need my system details, ill haply give tthem to you.
I'll move you over to the support forum as I'm sure you have a PC problem, rather than an EU2 bug.
Let's start with the basics...please do a complete uninstall and then reinstall and patch to 1.07, then rename the avi folder. If this doesn't produce a stable result then I'll need a complete system run-down please (OS/DX version/sound card + driver version/video/ card + version/etc.).
I've done the reinstall about 50 times, to no avail (including deleating AVI).

Also, did you try torun the dxdiag program?

Also what programs do you have running in your system tray?
try disabling them all and then run the game yet again.
EDIT:In the mouse thread in this forum, he mentions that he has Nview running, try to disable that aswell

Did you also disable nview - its something that the detonator drivers install and enable..
right click on the Nvidia icon in your systray(where the clock is)
Nview desktopmanager --> deactive
if the icon in the systray is not visible then you can get by doing the following:
right click your desktop -->properties --> settings -->advanced --> [your graphics adapter].
There should be a menu to the left if not click the green arrow.
Chose deactivate Niview desktp manager

Try removing you graphics card from Windows completely and let windows detect it again.
