I think he means you get the bonuses for your manufactories for any troops you control. So if you raise the levies in your vassals province you get the bonuses, but any troops that they raise themselves only get the bonuses from manufactories in their own demesne.

Yes.

I'm curious, if for example one Takeda guy (not a woman) is in the Court of another clan, can he become daimyo or kuni leader? If he could, is it possible for him to break free and form new clan, and if he'll do this, will it be another Takeda clan or what?

As far as I know, if your family name is already taken as a clan name, you will change your name to a random one and create that clan. But if no Takeda clan exists at the time you create your new clan you should become Takeda Clan.

Also I wanted to ask, will there be such a thing like sworn brotherhood, adoption and possibility of women characters to have a titles or lead armies or take position in the court? For example Tachibana Ginchiyo was clan leader.

I think I saw 'becoming rivals' event chain in one of the files so maybe there is something like becoming sworn brothers too. As for woman having titles I'm almost sure its not possible.

It would be quite logical and historical if lord doesn't have sons and brothers his oldest daughter becomes heir, until she'll get married.
Also I noticed opportunity to arrange marriages with close siblings, is it bug? If it's not, will there be genetic or moral consequences?

I took a quick look at the files and there is an 'inbred' trait so even if theres no moral consequences, the genetic seem to be there.

One of the things female characters can do is help defend the castle against a siege, so having a wife or female courtiers with high martial skill is definitely a good thing.

I misguided you, I have rechecked, you can't marry close siblings)))
What about traits and skills of children, are they somehow connected with one of their parents?

Bug or WAD?

In one of my Shoni games I went to war with the Otomi clan. After the initial battles were won I started to siege his westernmost provinces. As every good daimyo should do, Otomos vassals formed their own clans and left their ex clan ruler to die. But these new clans are at peace with me. I don't care about the breakaway traitors far away. But the lord whos lands I am besieging should automatically be at war with me. Afterall, I spend 6 months besieging a castle, as a sengoku daimyo I wouldn't lift my siege just because they've changed their lovely flags.

Yes, the parents having a specific kind of traits will influance the childs chance of getting them.
For example if both parents have diplomacy related traits then the child will have a higher chance of having a diplomatic trait aswell. Also if the parents have good traits, the child is more likely to get good traits too.

What happens with clan leader and his siblings, when his clan falls?

IIRC, if your character loses all of their territory it is game over. If an AI clan loses all of their territory, they and their retainers may become ronin, thereby eventually gaining land again (if it is given to them by their new clan's leader).

I seem to remember reading that if you lost all your land you also became ronin for a short time before it was game over, but this was a while ago and might have changed.

Unfortunately, that concept had to be dropped for technical reasons. It was a cool concept so maybe something that could be added in an expansion.

Is there a character/clan history file kept anywhere?

What do you mean? One for the setup or one that saves your character/clan's history as you play?
