Thanks, this is awesome! I especially love the new train and subway stations.

But can we get a simple fence and hedge network? It would complement the new surfaces. I would also appreciate narrower pedestrian streets.

This was a fairly large patch, about 5.5GB
On windows store I have 57.8 GB full download too, unlike steam.

They don't use the patch system correctly it seems because it usually is a full redownload of the whole game

Oh well, better than having no patch at all :D

Reading the patch notes and how quickly it released after the previous one, it seems we are on track to the road of redemption. Keep them coming after the summer break!

Also @co_avanya you are doing a very good job on the communication side of things. Much much much better than those word of the week things.

Good job, detail things is what makes this game special. Very nice direction where game goes after little bad start.

And for others, this 50 gb its not download thing. Its just steam "verification" of files.

I love the new schools and fire/police/train stations! It's not simply about the variety in style and footprint (which is always welcome), but the scale of these buildings looks much more appropriate in my opinion.

Together with the parking lots, parks, elevated subway stations and other new assets, this is a welcome surprise to bridge the gap until the assets packs and the asset editor will eventually be released.

Thank you for the unexpected patch! However, we still cannot use mods on GeForce Now, and this is very frustrating. I was able to use mods for a very short time, but then they stopped working again. We would like you to find a solution to this issue.

Additionally, while we can even change the ages of trees, we still cannot place vehicles on a line without mods. This is very disappointing…

Holy moly you guys! I just started a new city after the Economy 2.0 patch and was pretty happy to get back to the game - I hadn't played since December 16 :( - but this is a super nice surprise!!

You created some awesome new assets here that I'm very excited to use and will keep us playing until you get back from your holiday.

Thanks to the entire CO team for your hard work!

Thank you all! Enjoy.

Any chance for a high capacity high school? High Schools in my area, have an average between 2,000 to 2,500 students. Maybe a 2000 student school with a 500 capacity building extension.
It isn't in the works currently, so we'll have to see. But while the Urban High School doesn't have a higher student capacity, it does have a smaller footprint, so you can fit around 3 in the same space as the regular High School. With upgrades that gives you 36,000 student capacity in a fairly small area.

Wish I can play Cities Skylines 2. I have Xbox series x. When will it be release on other platforms xbox series x and PS5 players? Will you guys update us when you come back from holidays.
Unfortunately, we don't have an update on the console release yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we do.

Looking good, do you have an update on the asset editor yet? The main reason I still haven't got the game yet is because I can't download custom assets.
Not yet I'm afraid, but it's high priority for us and we'll get right back to working on it after the holiday break.

@co_avanya I am impressed you managed to reales patch so quick. GJ.

Cant see homeless bug on the list.
Don't you know this bug or it works as intended?
We're currently investigating the issue with homeless people, but I don't have an update on the situation. Realistically, we won't get to the bottom of it before the holidays (this week is the last one for Colossal Order before the holiday break), but we'll dive into it after the break. I can't say when we might have a patch, but we'll do what we can to bring you one as soon as possible.

Age Selector Added To The Tree Placement Tool
Thanks so much for this pre-vacation surprise!

Does the age selector tool stop the aging process, or do trees continue aging from whatever age one places them?

p.s. NOT complaining, but really curious why amidst all this cool stuff we couldn't get a prop line tool? Is there a programming impediment that makes this challenging?

Thanks again for all your hard work and enjoy your summer break!

Thanks for this pleasant surprise. Can't wait to try these after a few key mods are updated.

Apart from the homeless bug being pointed by everybody, please don't forget the mass transit boarding bug that get vehicules stuck for ages at overcrowded platforms. This is critical for trains and subways that have their efficiency ruined, whole lines can come to a complete stop with all vehicules waiting in line behind a bugged one.

No dev diary this time but I can attach a few quick screenshots of some of them. ^^

Unfortunately, we weren't able to provide a fix for this. We're aware of the issue and investigating it, but most likely we won't be able to patch it before the holidays. We'll dive into this once we're back in August and provide a fix as soon as possible.
omg these look amazing

I have been waiting for the surface tool since the game came out, so glad to finally have it. And the new buildings are really nice. I love the design for them. Thumbs up for this patch!

Wow! Very much appreciated!! I am 99% happier. And the last 1% would have gone to cross platform metro stations. Highly expected.
