Ok, now I have downloaded CORE2 and I used the windows installer. It seemed to install fine. It placed an icon on my desktop and I thought all was well. I try to start to game with the CORE 0.4.0 icon and it cant find an .exe file to start the game. I look in the Armageddon/mod-CORE2 folder and there is NO application file or .exe file to start the game. There is an application type file to uninstall and that is it.

Does anybody else have this problem?????? Or do I just have to move all the file folders over to the correct directories myself????

HOI2.exe is still located in the Armageddon folder, not the CORE2 folder.

Your Command line should look something like this (your install path will be different) :

"E:\Armageddon CORE-Colour\Armageddon\HoI2.exe" mod-CORE2

with the 'start in' box something like this :

"E:\Armageddon CORE-Colour\Armageddon"
 
What is the Black and White pack for? I installed it after I installed the basic Mod(installed into the mod directory), but nothing seems to have changed. What does exactly change with that pack?
 
The B&W graphics pack should give you nation-specific models for all major and many major minors, as well as full tech imagery coverage, mostly. The rest of the graphics is also included in the basic installer.
 
You have to put it in the moddir or in the basic Arma folder? Because I put the pics in the moddir and I got things like jet planes instead of Stuka, WWI tanks and so on.
 
Moddir should work - just make sure the graphics are installed in the proper folder as a result (the installer will automatically install the graphics in the moddir - so select your ARM folder when installing). You should end up with a graphics mod-CORE2\gfx\interface\models folder with over 3500 images in it (for starters).
 
Yes that's precisely what was my problem. I selected the Core2 folder when installing so it just created anothed mod-Core2 folder inside the real one. Problem solved, thanks everyone.
 
Freezeup while loading

Hi

I just bought HOI Anthologies. I loaded HOI2 + DD + Arma; then patched then downloaded CORE .
The game partially loads & freezes. I get the following error message on the screen

ERROR:(unknown type in naval division) 'convoy attack = 2'line = 28 file = mod-core2/db/units/division/battleship

Any suggestions?
 
Did you keep the Flavour Events when installing CORE ?

There is a known issue in the installer - if you decide NOT to install the flavour events, the end result is a faulty, outdated scenario file.
 
Armageddon patched to 1.2 with the installer and then to 1.3b2 ?

Do you have DD upgraded to Armageddon or do you have the Anthology version of Armageddon?
Do you play with Armageddon (the maste gamer, not Core) set to english language or with any other language ?
 
What's your checksum of ARM itself, and CORE?
