probably a bug.. playing as England i noticed a L3 tradepost in Malwa (se africa) with no owner (maybe natives as owner...)
this is in the 1520 scenario
 
Weren't the port coordinates for a couple of Caribbean islands supposed to have been changed a couple versions back? I notice that Puerto Rico still exits to the south and not the north as it should. Its not a big deal, but thought it might be worth mentioning.

The problem is not with this line, but rather that in 1419_fra.inc, the French capital is still in province 410, not in province 385. You either need to move the capital to 385 in the .inc file (which is the way it should be), or remove the # from the line in the event above.

And what am I supposed ot do with that? :D I'll go in and change the coordinates and post the result. The vertical (x) coordinate gets smaller as you go north, correct?
 
2nd bug (though no response to the first yet :p )

in post_byza.txt (byzantine fantasy events) there are the events
90039-the naval reforms
and
90007-the great shipyard

in the first event you can choose B or C who both sleep the event "32003"
because these choices both say "not too much money for the navy" (more or less) and the second event requires the first to have happened, i suspect the event that needs to be slept is "90007" and not "32003"

and another one, i think, KNI event 3537 (great carrack of Alexandria) seems to be missing the ACTIONNAME3537B in the text.csv

Theres a problem with two of the Inca events. Their triggers refer to the wrong events.

Event 81009 is set to trigger on 81010, when it should in fact be triggered on 81008.

Event 81018 is set to trigger on 81008, when it should in fact be triggered on 81016.
 
Another problem with the Inca file.

Event 81025 - 'Cuzco is ours once again' - it is set to trigger on the Inca's controlling Cuzco. It then presents an option to move the capital to Cuzco. However, since there is no corresponding event for Spain to give up Cuzco, the move capital option is useless.

Either the event should be triggered on owning, not just controlling Cuzco, or Spain should have a corresponding event where they surrender Cuzco.

Inca events are bugged all. 81004 and 81007 should be in the list of happened for 1520 scen. Without 81007 ev. 81008 never happens in 1520 scen and makes the whole sequence useless. Many events have wrong triggers. Furthermore, AI never kills Atahualpa nor takes the ransom – fear of inflation makes it always release him. Population in 1420 settings and changes in population in early Inca events make Cuzco and some other provs. population ridiculously high in 1520-30. I’ve got a fixed and tested ( 1.07 beta) version of Inca events to make the historical outcome quite possible + provinces population settings, anybody wanna look at?

Aztec, Zapotec and Maya population settings are too high. Then, there is a sense to make the Tlaxcalan revolt events triggered by date only – smthg like Cortez event a la Pizarro event. AI never gets the province now.

Last for America, I vote for none of northern Indean “states” – make smthg a la Ceylon there better. Since no assimilation happened on those territories, make 2 kinds of provinces for the whole of N. America – 500\ very low and 5-15.000\very high. Remove COT in Hindua. And gold in CA.

Lyon silk event doesn’t give the manufactory to Lyon – I don’t know why. Any other province can get it, a weird bug. End of 100YW event should move also the COT in Lyon to Paris – too much of the french trade goes to Flandern otherwise.

Ferocity = yes in Suleyman turkish AI often leads to an endless war between Turkey and Spain, Austria and few German minors after 1526, with very weird outcome. It should be removed. Also OE never attacks MAM. Instead, is almost always in alliance with them. Cem Sultan event can be made trigger to break this alliance and worse relations. Or better create smthg new, a la AGC. Also, add BYZ to the later turkish Ai’s. If not conquered in time, then she exists safely in XVI c.

Hungary events were excellent in 1.4 – now it’s a wreck again. Where is eep_hun file? Where are all 120000+ events?! Restore the 1.4, please.

Add Mombasa as core prov for Kilwa in 1420 setup. Otherwise the whole POR sequence is useless in 95% of cases. Also, this sequence up to malacca doesn’t work normally. I’ve made a good one for POR as AI (anybody wanna see? :--)), but there is a bug? for POR as human. When u discover Goa and Malacca with explorers only they don’t see u and dont Dow. Dunno what can be done here. Also remove relations (-30) as part of trigger.

Timurid empire never survives. Revoltrisk and stab should be lowered at least for 4 steps in both choices in desintegration event, to make she survive. Persian resurrection may be expanded somehow also. Delhi is also often too weak in 1420 scen.

Burgundy is often attacked by anyone (all german minors mostly) and disappears w/o trace before Carlos inheritance. BB?

Where are also a lot of other minor problems that can be easily fixed. U guys make a great work, but sometimes miss smthg obvious. Can I help? :--))

I do have a lot of this redone. I'll put the Timurids on the back burner for a bit to take care of this issue I created...:eek:

Being completely redone and I must say I'm liking what I see. ;) A major problem with the Timurids is/was that revolt risk stacks, so they get hit by a random event that increases revolt risk and they can be permanently screwed. The Timurids either need to be exempted from these kind of random events, or all revoltrisk changes need to disappear from random events.
 
More Inca problems.

The Monarch file is messed up, at least in terms of dates.

Particularly Huayna-Capac. In real life, Huayna-Capac died of smallpox in 1525. The 'Death Of Huayna Capac' event (81008) has a date starting in 1526, and ending in 1527. Also, in the monarch file, Huayna-Capac has an enddate of 1523, so by the time the event occurs, he is dead anyway, and Huascar is on the throne.

The event also places a 'sleepmonarch' command of Huayna-Capac, which is silly, because he's already dead.

Possible Solution: Select an arbitrary date in 1525, and apply that as the startdate for the event 'Death Of Huayna Capac' (81008), and also place that date as the enddate for Huayna-Capac in the monarch file.

In regards to the 'sleepmonarch' command, it is possible to avoid the Great Plague event, particularly if a human is playing the Inca. Thus, Huayna-Capac does not die of the plague, and lives on. So possibly his enddate in the monarch file should be extended up to 1533, where he can take Atahuallpa's place in the 'Date with Destiny' sequence of events

Both of these events are supposed to be triggered by French events. For event 21125, it should be directly triggered by the A choice of 12114 (FRA), while 21128 should be directly triggered by the A choice of 12125 (FRA). Adding the appropriate "triggerevent" commands to the two French events will fix this problem. Sorry about this.

To Garbon: Great :--)) I hope startdates for Goa and Malacca are moved from 1498. As to Timurids, I believe any means are good to keep them in game.

Yet another bug. Sweden in 1520 scen is lacking Gustav Vasa at all. Seems like SWE 3219 and all previous Danish sequence is off in 1520.
Another Swedish problem. One might think that any guy who ever won a battle for his sweetheart in a pub is immediately brought into the list of swe leaders, and some of them have nearly Napoleon skills. Ridiculous, but in some time periods u’ve got 6 land leaders with army limit near 25.000. Could anybody competent deal with this idiocy, please?

Thanks for the info Johnny ! I failed to realize that 3104 could be triggered by another event and not only by 12017. I was disturbed by the fact that in my game as France 3004 happened to England (they lost french culture) but 3104 did not happened to me.
