Detachable commanders really gets on my nerves in Hoi, Eu3 and Victoria. If I encircle and kill off an army, the commander should not magically reappear in the list of available commanders. The commanders certainly need to be detachable to shift them between different armies (or navies) and it would also be so good to rename armies/navies as we can do in victoria![]()

But it should be easier to swap leaders around in EU2.
Leaders should be detachable like in EU3 and killable like in EU2, but they shouldn't be able to teleport wherever they are needed like in EU3. They should be unavailable for some time after being detached (time needed to return to the capital and report for new assignment...didn't I already see that in some Paradox game?), and the should also need some time to arrive to the location of their new post, just like merchants in EU3 need time to arrive to a distant CoT.
I tend to agree. However, one thing that might be nice is to be able to select which army a newly-arrived general should go to. It's a bit annoying to have a 4/4/4 leader appear in your rebel-killing army in Mexico with no quick way to get him to the front in Europe. From a player friendly point of view that is a terrible idea. I'ts better to just be able to move leaders around when armies meet, that way you don't have to come up with new systems that just get in the way for the players fun.
Spawn leaders on the largest leaderless stack on the same continent of the capitol. If all stacks on the continent are full then spawn it in the biggest stack anyway.I tend to agree. Or, by extension, being able to change any value possible in an AI file for the corresponding country.i would like to have a command where in events I can add or remove a state ID from another state's AI file
Only Paradox can advertise. What, no christmas surprise?![]()
