I occupied a fort of Denmark.
Danish Pretender Rebels have arisen somewhere and now siege the fort.
If i make peace with Denmark and take the province,
will the Pretender Rebels move on to danish provinces
or will they siege the fort down that then will be my fort?
They'll move on, but may take a month's tick to do so. Note that this depends upon type of rebel: pretenders, nobles and peasants are targeting the tag, but separatists stick to their culture's land and don't care that it has a new owner now. Not sure what religious rebels do.

If I abolish slavery and then take a province where slaves are being produced, does that province instantly get new trade goods? Or does the abolition only affect the land I have when I click the decision?

How long can I wait with an event pop-up before it autochooses the answer and which answer will be picked?...

It's actually 4 months, I believe.
Yes; I checked and it was 4 months for in the events in my current game.

Another quick question: when you support a nation's independence, do their overlord's allies get called into the independence war?...
If I support Sweden and they start an independence war, would it look like this:
Denmark, Dithmarschen and Muscovy against Sweden, Poland, Lithuania and Ansbach.
...
Yes. I think so.

Thank!

Another quick question: when you support a nation's independence, do their overlord's allies get called into the independence war?

Example: Playing as Poland, I want to support Sweden's independence. Denmark - my rival - has already swallowed up Norway. Denmark is allied to Muscovy, who I just defeated in a prolonged war. Lithuania, my junior, now holds the Novogrod region. Following the war, Muscovy jumped on an alliance with Denmark.

So the alliance scorecard is:

Denmark: Muscovy and Dithmarschen.
Muscovy: Denmark and Pskov
Poland: Lithuania (junior), Ansbach (junior), Austria, and Crimea.

If I support Sweden and they start an independence war, would it look like this:

Denmark, Dithmarschen and Muscovy against Sweden, Poland, Lithuania and Ansbach.

If that's the case, I'd want to wait until our truce burns off so I can claim land.

Independence wars will pull you in as the attacker, declaring on the Overlord, and calling their allies. All subject nations of participants will also join in. So your summary of combatants is right.

Is there a limit regarding how much gold the colonial nations can send? Because I colonized 2 gold provinces but the total sum given to me is still 200 ducats, does the increase in gold mines just affect how often I will receive the treasure fleet rather than the actual amount? Can the gold gained from a treasure fleet "infinite" in theory?

it should increase the amount you get for each treasure fleet.

are you making enough money? A country can't start sharing knowledge if it end up in red numbers.

Doesnt the main trading port give any modifiers??
So it doesnt make any difference where i locate my main trading city?

If I want to collect in the Lübeck node it makes no difference if I place the main trading port in Lübeck or in Hamburg (or in Wismar even), right?
No difference whatsoever (wiki).

Hi !

I don't know if this is the correct thread, but I have a question about the PU mechanics, that I know literally nothing about....

I'm playing Byzantium and the Commonwealth of Poland-Lithuania(already formed as one nation) have a Ruler and Heir with the same name as mine(same Dynasty...??).

Also Austria(not the Emperor currently) has a ruler with same name with my ruler but a heir named Habsburg.

What can I or must I do to get a PU with them ?

To get a PU with another Christian nation, their ruler must die without an heir while you have a royal marriage with them. If they aren't your dynasty, they'll get the dynasty of the nation married to them who has the most development (hopefully you) and stay independent; if they are already your dynasty (and not at war!) they'll fall into a PU under you, which may be contested by one of your Rivals. (there is a small chance of getting a PU directly even if they don't share dynasty, and an even smaller chance of outright inheriting the land, but those are once-in-a-blue-moon occurrences)
In addition to the peaceful route, if a nation has your dynasty, a RM with you, and *either* no heir or a heir with a weak claim, you can use the Claim Throne diplomatic action. This gives you Causus Belli to force a Personal Union via war. Many nations in Europe also have mission trees that give them this CB on historically appropriate targets.

In practice, if you want to fish for PUs you'll want Diplomatic ideas filled out so that breaking RMs doesn't cause a stability hit, and then pay attention to the notification flag that lists christian nations without an heir - marry them when the ruler is old, break the marriage if the ruler gets an heir before dying. Once a foreign nation does have your dynasty, if you can beat them in a war you might want to watch for them to lack an heir or even better to have a weak one, so that you can claim their throne. (weak is better than no heir if you have to wait out a truce (eg. for breaking alliance), since a heir can appear at any time but a weak heir will stay weak).

There is a massive guide to PUs floating around these forums somewhere, I've only covered the basics. There are a whole bunch of weird corner cases you mostly shouldn't worry about. The only oddity likely to be important to a random campaign is the fact that someone at war can't fall into a PU as a junior partner - if you ever have the flag that warns you you'll become someone's junior if your ruler dies, stay at war until you get an heir.
